Shouldnt matter. The older ones were worse! It would be a test for any scooter whoever made it.

I've made a few long tough trips myself all on a Chinese scooter. Last one was to Dallas and back to visit my grand children a one way trip of 408 miles made in one day on my Roketa 250B. When I arrived in Dallas on that July day it was 106F and I ran this scooter hard from 60 to 70mph. ON the way home on the last trip I ran through rain for the last 100 miles and never had a issue.
I've made this trip 5 times total for a total of over 4k in miles. The scooter has over 12k on it now and I wouldn't hesitate to take it through DV.

I can relate to this myself, even though my 250 is bigger and more comfortable to ride at over 60 years of age I felt the results of 816 miles on a scooter in a 4 day period. I left on Friday morning, got there that evening and came home on Monday. I was tired.

I give props to anyone brave enough to travel death valley. Period. I use to live in Bullhead City Az. I can understand that heat. You feel like your melting. Good thing it's not humid there.

For a small scooter that was epic. (so much for the "'you need at least 400cc to cruise" crowd) BTW, the average temp in the SoCal desert during summer is around 110-115. (if your lucky)

I agree, for a small scoot that is awesome..... I've taken long day trips on my 150, usually we do 100 or so... with frequent stops..... But you are tired when you get home.
