1,595 miles on my factory 63ccVIP so far. I just use the proper maintenance on it. I have used the same brand of oil in it since it was new, gas also.

I use Castrol full synthetic 75/ it's not failed me yet on any of my scooters. Mobile is also a good gear lube, stick with a good quality brand. Good luck with your scoot.

Well my enricher works, it extends out 1/4 inch but it won't raise idle no more than 2/1/2 gran on tach. New jets, float and needle, an diaphragm. It use to work perfect until I cleaned it. What to do now?

Alleyoop is right, they do put the wrong numbers on the cheap ones. Best to get a Gates or Bando belt. They haven't failed me yet. ^)

What brand of carb. would you guys & gals recommend in a 19mm CVK carb.? I've used those Kung Fu brand (JAPAN) with not much luck. Do have a good question though. Bonehead mistake? When I was cleaning the carb. I did spray carb. cleaner on the dipram and it shriveled up pretty bad but when it dried out it went back to normal size. Should I put a new one in??

Had a perfect running carb. until I cleaned it.But at the time I didn't know it was the fuel valve (petcock) My enricher worked perfect until I cleaned my carb. Now it dont want to tack out to 4gran like before and slowly idle down until it's warmed up.Cold start it only tacks out about 3 grand for a few seconds and it drops down to idle1,500 gran before it warms up,but not warmed up.Enricher gets pretty warm so it seems to be working. I've had this problem before only having to replace the carb. several times. what could be going on?? Is it just a coincidence?? Yes it's very confusing. I'm lost again.

Decided to check my plug the other day and to my surprise half of it was a nice caramel color and the other half was pretty white. What the heck? Am I running lean on one side an good on the other side? It's an horizontal head also. Strange!!

[replyingto=gatekeeper]gatekeeper[/replyingto]You were 100% right! I never knew that could happen, always thought when one went bad it would flood the carburetor.

Well folks to be blunt about my new 2T, It runs like someone shot it with a .44 mag. It's ran like that since I took it out of the crate but has got much worse. Not much exaust pressure coming out of the pipe. Massive air leak somewhere. P.S. Also using excessive amounts of gas. Should I just junk it for parts?? Or am I looking at something as simple as a fuel valve (petcock) ?

[replyingto=gatekeeper]gatekeeper[/replyingto]Yes I have been thinking of that myself, I'll try a new petcock. They don't cost a lot of money either. Wish me luck!!
