The float is working, now to find out why it's sucking so much gas?? something internal in the carb.? Also when I have the carb. off I can spray a couple shots of starter fluid in the intake and it fires right up for a couple seconds. Put the carb. back on an it wont start. It starts to flood the cylinder.

UPDATE!!! Set valve lash and it's great! Checked spark and it's hotter than a firecracker! Checked compression and it blew my finger off the spark plug hole! Cylinder flooding with lots an lots of gas! Only one thing left, Carburetor! Anyone agree???

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]I'll try that, I put a lot of quality parts in this scoot last year.It should have ran for a good long time without this happening. Just makes me P.S. It almost sounds like savatage to me.

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]I've bought a new carb. and checked about 15 vacuum lines. When I had the intake off to reseal it I did notice what looked like some gasket material missing inside the intake, but I'm unsure. 2 scoots down it's hard to keep my mind on what I'm doing at times.Yes some pictures, can't figure out how to send them to this forum from my iphone yet. I've got to do something soon because winter comes soon here in Indiana. Also takes forever to order parts. Yes my battery isn't much good.

[replyingto=jjoshua20213]jjoshua20213[/replyingto]So you're saying maybe the valves? Yes I've thought about that also.Only thing though, it's like someone is standing there with a 5 gallon can of gas pouring it in. I'll check the valves before I buy another carb.

I'm thinking that enricher valve inside the carb. is messed up again. It took me 5 carbs. to get the right one to work last year. Those Kung Fu Carbs. are pretty much junk. Out of 100% of fuel is burned, only about 10% is being burned. It's crazy I know but true.

No it's not horizontal. It's a 1E40QMB Minarelli JOG type engine. Where could I just buy a new engine? I'd rather buy a new one because it would be easier for me due to my health issues.

It's been running perfect for a long time,no sputtering or nothing it just quit. Like I said it will only run WOT but it may not now.Tons of fuel coming out the pipe.I Put a brand new carb. on last fall before I stored it away. Anyway I've got 2 scoots broke down now. I'm a BIG JINX. It's always started perfect and never failed me till yesterday.Man It use to run perfect. Do they still make parts for a 63cc? No I wont try an start it any more. I'm afarid it's got some good damage done to it. I"m going to take a brake for a few days an then go back to it. I"m pretty sick over my scoots right now. Thanks for the advice guys. Yes I put a new diphram in it an cleaned carb. but no change at all.Oh yea it has around 3,600 miles on it.
