I got up for work this morning to find my scooter laying on its side. It had been parked with on leg of the center stand on the grass. It then rained. Meh no biggie, i pick it up and go to hit the starter...click...clik. OK kickstarter....wont budge. Uh oh. Kick with starter...snap! Spins with no compression. 2008 jonway yy50qt6 sunny R.I.P. 6493.2 mi

Sorry my phone pasted the same image twice. The oil rig in the photo is one of 3 i know of in full operation. They reside in a giant park in the middle of grand rapids. Millenium park was once part of a gypsum mine corporation turned city dump. Now you take your kiddies swimming there in all that with the rather mad max like chuchunk_cachunk in the background.
Thanks copper. Cant wait to help you put some miles on that derbi.

It has long since been filled with dirt for environmental reasons.there is a creek 40 feet behind that dirt filled building that used to be filled with waste from the stockyard. It used to infest the waters with ecoli and worse. This would transfer to mosqitoes and flies...which brings us to our next tag... A huge environmental hazard.

So this once upon a time was a butcher shop. There is a big dock where they would offload the cattle from trucks then send them through some gates into an area to be "processed."

Our one of our local scoot shops decided to sell a stroker crank that may give the HOCA stroker a run for your money. STG is actually Scooters To Go, A Grand Rapids scooter sales and repair shop. Although the price looks attractive, In my experience the shop is all too eager too sell you something. I may pick one of these up considering it's half the price of a hoca unit. If it fails prematurely i won't mind as much because it's more likley to get a replacement from a local place vs someone 1k+ miles away. If you zoom in on the ebay photos you can get a good look at the casting. It isn't quite as nice as the hoca unit. www.ebay.com/itm/GY6-139QMB-Scooter-Stroker-Crankshaft-High-Performance-Crank-/171006885126?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&hash=item27d0cdfd06&vxp=mtr

Kinda funny. One of our local pc builders is offering $50 downgrades to Win7 with each new build or service. I play with 8 and I must say it is a good mobile OS but my nokia running win8 just requires too many taps to get to what I need. I don't have that problem with my droid.
