BOS and title are non exsistant. Michigan does not require them for mopeds anyway. Pics are coming soon...I only have a crap phone that takes terrible pics (still rokin moto razr). My roomie has a nice camera though. (pro photographer) Three wheels is a pretty cool idea....i still have (half) a honda gyro laying around...maybe a can am/piaggio mp3 type trike?

One catch it has to be naked. the plastics are shot and I dont plan on buying new ones (more money for mods!) It is a 2011 mf scooter 50cc sunny style with drum front brakes. A basket case...i kinda half bassed tried to fix it 6 months ago and FAILED. But now the owner moved to Seattle and the homeowner told me to get it out of her yard (im her maintenance man) i called the owner (she is my yoga instructor) owner says ok she dont want it anymore. So what do I do with it? I have 2 puch mopeds a moto guzzi moped, 3 scoots and 3 motorcycles. none of which are 139qmb and, i really dont need another 2wheeler clooging my garage. Therefore, I leave it unto YOU dear DAWGS! to decide the fate of this fair scoot! Wheelie monster? Mini bike for the cottage? Crazy track speed demon? Plaything for the kiddos? Mad Max? I scoot year round...maybe winter beater? YOU decide or its going to rust away........consider it the forums bike. NO IDEA IS TOO CRAZY! The bike will be donated to st. vincent depaul (a homeless shelter/thrift store here in Grand Rapids) at the end of the build. Lets have some fun with this lil guy and build something cool for a good cause.

So, I took another whack at it. I was taking video to show the plug wet but this time it came out dry! Is there a way I can test the fuel petcock before I replace the carb. Mind you I actually got it to stumble a bit by hand choking the carb.

So I am checked the timing, it is spot on. I put in a new coil as I know im getting fuel but that didnt help at all either. Maybe the cdi is sending out the spark at the wrong time?

Compression is fine. Plug comes out wet. I check for soark by grounding the plug to the valve cover. It would not spark at all if it were the kill switch. Im going to go out and pull the covers to check the timing.

The scoot has 1600mi. Valves check out with the beer can trick (couldnt find my feelers). And compression checks out. I have not checked timing yet.

A friend just picked up a non op 139qmb scoot. I tore down the carb, cleaned it, put fresh gas in and verified spark. For some odd reason this scoot will still not start! Not even on starter fluid! Its boggling my mind. Sometimes it sounds like its trying but nothing comes of it.
