Hahaha 35 buck exhaust gaskets...sounds like freakin car shop prices. I used to work on cars and like a 40 minute brake job where we turned rotors and put new pads in would be like 600 bucks

I found some 1 5/8 inch hose(if I remember correctly) and a thin copper plumbing elbow which im pretty sure was 1 1/2 inches which worked just perfectly. A cheap ebay uni knockoff and some hose connectors andI was set. A pvc elbow would work fine but the only ones I found were thicker and wouldnt fit the hose i used unless i used a smaller inner diameter one. I just brought my carb to osh and mocked it all up. I did have trouble finding the right rubber hose though, no harware or auto stores had one that was the right size so I found a shop that specialized in hoses lol.

Lol i keep accidentally likingy own posts but neways is the ratio still around 13 when you're wide open? Seems like most ppl use bigger jets, are you using a uni filter or stock air box? With my stock air box, new exhaustband 108 jet my scoot flew

Interesting. I wish I had a sensor so I wouldn't need to just guess. 108 was what I was using with my stock exhaust and air box. But I upjetted to stay on the safe side. It seems to go faster wot but slower on the lowbend when im a bit on the leaner side like 115 but I'm paranoid of running hot. I'd mess with the needle maybe but without a sensor I'm scared of running lean band hot. I've been trying to estimate with plug chops but it doesn't seem like my plug really colors very brown even when rich to the point of bogging, its kinda like grey with a tiny tiny hint of tan. I went with the 120 because it seemed to give the best balance of low end and wot power with my setup.

Nice, im really happy with it too. On my bike though I had to slightly modify the mount so it would clear the oil dipstick. Just ground a bit of metal off the triangle. Also the center stand on mine rubbed against my pipe so I had to remove it. its cool that yours fit perfectly, mine took a little finagling but overall im more than happy with it. And my scoot sure sounds mean now lol. What kind of jetting are you using? Im running a 120 main with a uni filter at sea level and it seems pretty spot on. 125 worked ok too I just felt it might be bogging a tiny bit at wot.

Yeah. Motorcycle boots are sooo overpriced. As far as the real boots go the only ones I likes were over 200 bucks! Yeah right lol id rather buy parts for the bike. That said flea markets can be a bargain. My friend found 150 dollar boots, never used and in the box at a flea market for 20 bucks. He also found a couple jackets in rly good shape for like 20 bucks also its amazing the deals he found

Here's O'Neal's link-- www.oneal.com/index.php/sale/element-boot-pink-detailI think mine are dirt bike boots too, or if there's a diff, motocross. See the jersey and pants on the same page. That's why I question if they're overkill and if I should keep my eyes open for a clearance street bike boot instead. I did find some reviews on it. One gal's shoe size is the same as mine, said the 8 felt giant but the 7 (what I have) fits perfect after a quick break-in. Others agreed, a bit tight and stiff at first but fits/feels great after. Equal number found they stayed stiff. I hate mixed reviews--how's a person to make a decision if folks can't agree!? >'Kat They make high top motorcycle shoes with armored ankles and toes if you think full boots are overkill. Check out the speed and strength " black nines" they look casual like skate shoes but offer plenty of protection.

I wonder what made him space out and drive straight across the lane and into the guardrail...for such an experienced rider that was a pretty dumb mistake. Poor dude must have been like a 15 foot drop at least. The best safety equipment is to drive safely, but the helmet amd gear sure helps

Oops, I guess that link I showed the seller sold out of those ones. But like a dozen other sellers have the same kinds for like 80 bucks or so. Just search gy6 exhaust or something on aliexpress. Id check the seller ratings and stuff to find a good dealer

Well thankfully my side stand has been holding up, its just annoying to check the oil level while trying to hold it level lol. well at least the stand doesnt scrape on rly sharp turns anymore. I might try to mock it up and see if I can grind anything off of it without screwing with its structural integrity. Its not the worst problem I guess.

Ya, I wouldnt remove mine, although those reinforced open cvt mod kits do look real clean. Its good to know as long as everything else is working ill be able to start it even if the battery dies. Ive been surprised wkth my cheap o chinese battery it hasnt failed me yet.

Nice. A lock and alarm should deter most run of the mill thieves and tweakers. I have a rly cheap disc alarm from ebay and even though it wouldnt stop a very determined and good thief, itll sure make a tweaker jump and get rly sketched out and hopefully leave the scene. I dont think most would stick around while the alarm is goin off for the time it takes to snip or grind the chain and drag or lift the scoot away. Just be careful there are some really determined thieves out there
