2011 gmw 50cc four stroke gy6 with pair system just taken off.
Im trying to install new fuel and vacumn lines and havent done this before. Need some help.
I removed pair emissions system. I put ncy plate over hole. I dont know what to do now. Im confused about running the lines to proper fitting.
Lets start at the gas tank. The fuel line goes to inline fuel filter correct? And then to carb?

And it looks pretty old, might be time for a replacement. They tend to fail. A replacement might save you some headaches down the road. Ok buying new petock. I gave nimajeb a thumbs up. Mods can close my thread if thats what they do. My problems been solved.

Petcock is located beneath gas tank on 50cc 4 stroke gmw.
The vacumn line also connects to petcock.

If it goes in between your valve cover, and your airbox, I don't know what it's called. PCV?. It just catches oil, and whatever else out of the vent hose. Sorry, it looks just like a carbon canister, that goes in between the gas tank vent, and the airbox. Ok thank you.

This is a pic of everything i took off in an effort to replace my "fuel lines" . Ive already removed and modified correctly the pair system. It burns up unspent gas. Maybe later before i cut my coil of fuel line from Aces hardware to my scooters specs, we could chat, sit down and I get the job done correctly. I would appreciate that. Hint: i forgot to take pictures before i ripped the lines off my scooter.

It is a carbon canister. Part of what I believe is called the EVAP system. It burns the fumes coming out of the vent on your gas tank. You i believe are referencing what i know as the Carb Pair system. It does what you described in your answer above.

You arent correct. For anyone running a uni air filter: what is the black canister in question called? For anyone else: the canister in question on my scoot goes in between the airbox and the.........(either carb or valve cover). Thank you in advance.

Ok! I'll pm him with my address. Was just about to give up - had looked thru all the scooter parts i had -- and then on the very last cylinder head was that little NCY plate! In an envelope and will be on the way to you tomorrow (from san diego). If you spend 35 cents postage to return to me 35 cents for postage I'll be deeply offended ! Glad to help. ps: the gasket that goes between the NCY plate and the head came off pretty intact, but i still strongly urge you put a thin coat of gasket sealant (not Permatex) on the thing so you don't end up doing the job over. Thank you so much.
