exactly what i have and will show tonight it's absolutely zero affect. i understand what is thought and for good reason because it LOOKS like it does something, but in the end it simply does nothing. the cam is fully able to spin quite freely in both directions and there is no linkage the affects the rocker arms either. i need to get a couple zip ties to keep it in place for a vid, as holding it by hand and rotating is a pain. Any update on the video to demostrate that the cam stopper has no effect on valve lash retention when the engine is rotated counter-clockwise? I'm still curious to learn if it is fact or myth.

rcq92130, Really good post. I have wondered the same thing about if the tires need balancing. And don't forget to update us with the results of the beads.

"Engaging low drive ratios during deceleration and braking would greatly magnify the energy returned to the battery via regeneration. With the friction binders reserved for panic stops, brake pads should last the life of the car. " That is quite a claim. I would mind that in my vehicle. A method of electrical generation and the elimination of needing brake maintainence.

Intersections are the most dangerous. You really need to look both ways twice, even if you have had the green for a while. This is the worst scooter crash I've ever seen, and the scooter had the green way before either the scooter or car entered the intersection: Ive seen this one before,, Those are the ones I always talk about jerry,,35mph at an intersection,,man you always have to be on your toes when approaching one,,if you cant see for some reason,,I hope you know Jesus...lol.Atleast the a-hole cager rung his bell on the jersey barrier afterwards.... I dont think the scooter rider was alive for long after that one,,and if he was,,hes going to have a long tough road ahead of him..my prayers go out...... Man if that chick was over to the left 6 inches more she would be road pizza,,how the heck do you fall asleep on a scooter, drunk, drugs, seizure maybe?? It looked like Russia, so my guess would be that she was drunk.

I don't HAVE a dipstick...just a sight glass. Don't worry, you are not missing much without a dipstick. The fill lines are notorious for being inaccurate. I use a measuring cup with mililiters when changing oil.

I wish there was a way to measure the volume of fuel and air being sucked into the chamber to see if there is any change at certain rpms even if it is minimal. That was my thoughts also. What kind of methodology could be used to ensure accurate testing between a large and standard size carburetor?

In that case. Just remind her you will be riding it and not her.

Now, to convince myself, and my wife, that it's the the Deal, before it disappears. If the other rider ain't wavin, it ain't me ridin.moh' Just use the excuse that it will save money in the long run with gas savings. That is what I used in comparison to driving my truck everyday to work. Afterwards you just don't mention the drawer in the garage that I full of spare parts that you stockpile. It's better to have to parts on hand than waiting around for shipping.

My thing is, I don't know what Jet I'm starting out with.... I just had a Chat with Dexter from Parts for scooters and he's gonna get the info for me... I can't believe they (Hoca) didn't stamp this jet. On a side note, Parts for scooters IMO is the BEST place to get parts from... They offered to send me any jet I wanted.... I declined of course because I don't know what I'm starting out with... Do you have a set of micro drill bits? I had the same problem with an unstamped main jet from a carburetor from Scrappy Dogs. Using those I was able to determine the jet was probably a 100. Interestingly enough, after testing and tuning with my wideband O2 sensor, my 150cc with unifilter consistently rides at 13.0 air/fuel ratio with a 104 main jet. But that's a write-up for another day.

The features are all good and well. But they still require the driver to be paying attention for those alerts. Some stupid person running their mouth on the phone probably won't notice them anyways.
What they need to use is electro shock therapy. Instead of those cute little noises an electrical shock should be sent though the driver's seat. Any passengers should be shocked also just for trusting the idiot driver. After 2 or 3 shocks maybe their wouldn't be so many idiots drivers.

That connection does look bad. Typically when I do battery connections I solder the connection, then use heat shrink tubing. It may be over doing it, but I'm 100% sure of the connection. OK how should I go about redoing the battery connection? Should I just take the ring off then strip the wire down a lil bit then re crimp it? I don't have a soldering iron at the moment Lol. Beside listening the the experts here, yes I would suggest redoing that connection. Even if it is working now at some point that is going to fail. First cut off the frayed part of the wire. If you don't have extra of those O connector, gently reopen the one you have and reclamp it down. Solder and shrink tube would be the best, but electrical tape can be a temporary insulator for the time. But again, listen to the senior guys here. They really know what they are doing.
