A cellphone blocker inside the cage would be more effective

I was unaware that Jaguar vs 2 wheeled vehicle collisions were so frequent an occurrence that so much tech is warranted. Of course, auto manufacturers are under the gun to produce higher tech systems each model year to differentiate themselves from last years old, crappy, out of date, models. Although, it may be that Jaguar is simply re-programing and re-purposing some of their existing sensor suites and adding a few warning lights and alarms. I'm not familiar with Jaguars current back-up and curb warning systems. So this may not be a very expensive add on for them.

The features are all good and well. But they still require the driver to be paying attention for those alerts. Some stupid person running their mouth on the phone probably won't notice them anyways.
What they need to use is electro shock therapy. Instead of those cute little noises an electrical shock should be sent though the driver's seat. Any passengers should be shocked also just for trusting the idiot driver. After 2 or 3 shocks maybe their wouldn't be so many idiots drivers.

That's excellent. Jet fighter pilots have been using multi-sensory alert systems for some time. They work better than just alarms alone. Now they, if they don't already do so, need to make the sound come out of the system in a directional manner so that the driver not only hears an alarm but from which direction the "threat" is coming from.
I like the "ghost car" feature.

And the Jag of my choice-- I actually could've bought one. I would've gotten a plate that said "Jag Wag." As a friend said, from halfway to front, looks like a Jag. From halfway to the back, looks like a Ford. Ha! >'Kat

It's also in the tradition of English manners. Gotta love the Brits!
