The rubber boot is to keep it from bottoming out. It is just were it should be. Now if it is leaking oil then it is time to get ya a new one.

The one video is from atlanta on I285 i had to drive it every day and it is the reason i sold my old shadow 750 was way to dangerous to ride there. I came up on a wreak were the motorcyclist lost his head when he smashed into the back of a semi changing lanes. Lane splitting is illegal because it is stupied and dangerous and it needs to stay illegal.

What side is your brake on? I have a 50cc thats is on the right and it will always flop to that side when i put it on the center stand my 150 is front heavy so it sits on the front tire when on the center stand but it tou push down on the back end the front tire will go to the left which is the side the brake is on.

Its a 150cc in a 50cc scooter body so its not as big as a standard 150. The price is right for that model new. There are a few guys i have met around me that have that scooter because it looks like a 50cc and they dont have a license :-) they just have to watch there speed

Heat is not really a issue with our batteries. How they sit they get cool air from the vents behind the front wheel and as you said its not that close to the motor. The prob is they are taxed pretty hard for a little battery. I keep a conditioner on mine even when it is run everyday. Still never got more than a little over 3 years out of one

My $.02 After having one I would not ride without a windshield again. blocks so much wind off of you and smooths out a lot of the turbulence. That said I do not mind riding in the cold at all but my fingers do. would like to find some gloves that are not so bulky but block the wind. What do you all use? any good battery heated gloves?

I have purchased two scooters from them and have friends that have used them as well. We all have had very good experiences with them. I give them an A

After looking at how these motors are made. They are not really designed for any ethanol at all just like most older small engines the seal and hoses will break down causing big problems in the future especially if you leave it sitting. If you cant get 100% gas then i would use a additive to help and drain the gas if it will be sitting for an extended amount of time

When taking off my CVT cover for the first time I noticed that in its manufacturing they never bothered to file and clean up the inside of the case in the front behind the crappy little filter and where the air exhaust from the back. using a dremel and a few files I cleaned and smoothed up all the burrs blocking the airflow. I then removed the factory foam filter element and cut out a few of the plastic grills in it and cut to fit a new charcoal filter used in a lot of vacuums. installed the filter back and check the air flow out of the rear at idle with my Anemometer. CFMs up 2.5 from my test before doing any work. I then tested it at 4000 rpm and it was up almost 4 cfms!!!! I also tested the temp of the case 3 times after doing the same 20 min rides before and after the little mod and all three test showed a temp drop of more then 20 degrees ( Using a Ryobi laser thermometer). I think this was the trick (for me anyways) and it was hard to beat the price. And its still all closed up and out of harms way
