So, I have a service station nearby that has 100% gasoline, no ethanol.
Premium pump gas here contains up to 15% ethanol.
Which would be better for the carb/engine On these china bikes?
Price difference between premium and 100% is pennies on the gallon, so price is not an issue, just overall health of the bike.
I have noticed my bike runs alot better on 100%. My 2 cents.

(Try to find a station with a dedicated hose too)

Ethanol can and will case residue build up in your carb and fuel pump.

(Try to find a station with a dedicated hose too) Haha, I'm stealing this pic. And yes, this is a dedicated system just for 100% gas. No other petrol is pumped through this pump.

howdy, you should also notice better fuel consumption numbers and less water in the fuel which reduces water caused rust and such
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

You are lucky. In Kalifornia I cannot get gasoline -- just the "fuel" we have. When I went tour on my Savage I noticed that got 5% more miles/gallon once I crossed the State Line -- and it dropped when I returned.

My mech said running crapanol with fuel additive or lower octane pure gas with booster is about the same result. And recommended the fuel add 'cause there's only a couple stations with pure. This way I'm not confined to those couple, and not screwed if I run low and I'm not close to either station.
However, my wagon gets nothing except pure in his tummy. And a much happier car he seems to be without corn popping away in there.

Yea no corn feed here i have a few stations that sell 100% gas about a mile from me oddly enough they are also about the same price as the stations that sell that % junk. My Gmw was forced to use some corn fed gas once and i could really tell she didn't like it one bit. Hard to start very sluggish off the line with 30Mph the absolute max she could run... Needless to say the rest of that tank was drained and good fuel replaced it.

After looking at how these motors are made. They are not really designed for any ethanol at all just like most older small engines the seal and hoses will break down causing big problems in the future especially if you leave it sitting. If you cant get 100% gas then i would use a additive to help and drain the gas if it will be sitting for an extended amount of time
