What size main jet are you using . What roller weight ? I replaced the 8gs with 5gs and I had so much more takeoff , mid and uphill on my " secret 63 " and more so with a 50mm BBK , MJ and NGK iridium . Everything else was stock and it was a lil monster . I sold it to a guy who had blew up his scooter and needed one ASAP . He loved mine so much he had the cash in my hand before he could come to a complete stop after a test ride . Yeah the OEM carbs suck with no needle clip , air/fuel screw sealed and I have just a few that had the bowl riveted on instead of screws . Glad you got it running again as it is more fun to ride than push or stare at it . I hear great reviews from the big valve and ported head at Scrappydogs but , yikes its around 150

I try to go where each grade has its own hose to avoid getting any 87 left in the line . Many of the newer pumps that have a single hose also have more pressure than the older ones . At some places I have to put in gas by using bursts instead of a single pull on the trigger . Since I premix now I carry a small gas jug to a gas station and pour in 2T oil and shake it up . If you are at a station with a single hose , go after the guy with a Corvette as more than likely they got premium . Many have said they use 87 but I did ONE time on a brand new TaoTao and half a mile later the piston cracked . Unsure if it was coincident as I had NEVER in my life had a piston crack even as a wild teen with many two wheelers . My dealer makes his customers sign a paper during the PDI to only use premium , preferably without eathanol ( E10 ) and not to use E85 ether . 6 weeks later the TaoTao made the 2nd piston explode into pieces . I learned that the China scoots are not Honda like I was used to . I decided to do research and get caught up on the China scoot craze . I joined the old SD . Was is funny is that I posted about my mishap and my dealer replied without knowing who I was . I only use premium and have not had another problem other than I got some bad gas with water in it and had to drain teh tank and carb bowl .

It is a Jonway Magnum , a 2T with handsome boy body . I already removed the inner fender long ago . Plenty of room in the rear but not so much in the front .
Has anyone here put on two rear tires ? If so did you put the front on backwards or the same direction as the rear ?

My dealer put on a 63mm BBK without have to bore the case and a 2.5 stroker . He said it had a thicker block than most GY6 . I will have to ask if it is a B .

I was pondering the thought of getting two rear tires since they are stronger than the fronts . My scooter dealer has a rear on the front of his own scooter but mounted backwards . If I wemt this route I would want mine mounted according to the unidirectional arrow instead

I decided to go with Michelin Puresport SC 130/60/13 as they fender would not allow a 70 and a 140 may be too wide . The rear I could have went with a 140 . I did get a 130/70/13 since it is taller and turns 53 times less per mile than a 60 and they were out of the 60s . Compare sizes is a link to compare diff sizes

They have many 150s for 750 and up . Now it may not be 200 cc as I have seen some that were 170 and they rounded it up . I did see a Motofino that was a 200cc . They also have a few listed that are labeled a CVT when in fact the are a 4 speed manual like the Lazer

With the brakes on it will not have enough power to break away . My hot rod 2T can pop a wheelie . In the grass or dirt I can do a long burnout without holding the front brake lever

JR about how many miles did you get out of both sets ? If I can fit a 140 would it wear out the engine and CVT more so ? Would the 70 sidewalls change anything other than the ride ?

The EPA website says E 10 has a day shelf life where gas without ethanol can be good for over a year depending on conditions . When in dought drain it out and clean the jets

The Pirelli SL26 ? I plan on ordering Saturday so should I get the Avons and a sparkplug so shipping is free ? I know some scoots and MCs have a taller tire in the front and wider rear but mine has both the same size and I would prefer to stay like that as I enjoy the feel of it . .
My dealer had those Shinkos a while back and a few others . The only tire they had was a Shinko not on that page that said it was rated for 75 MPH on the tire . Most use the letter code . I have Shinkos on my Echarm but they are hard and I wanted to get better tires that those for my 2T as I plan on taller gears soon and want above J speed ( 62 MPH ) tires . I like how the Avon and Pirelli in 130/60/13 are reinforced as I would hate to have blow out while zooming

It does not take as much power to spin the wheel while on the CS compared to propelling it . Remove the CVT , stand on the opposite side and rev it up a lil while on the CVT to see how it engages . Worn or missing ( they have been know to fall out on some ) will not allow the belt to get pushed out all the way

6 amps may not be enough as my 150 used 10 amps . Note mine has EFI so it needs more juice to run . Yeah trickle charger is normal 1/2 amp so you would need to have a charger that could put out 2 amps to fully charge it . Above 2 amps and you risk cooking the battery . batteries Around twice the money you can a lithium battery For my cars I try to get a higher CCA rated battery than suggested to have a lil extra rather than just enough .
