it could be a combo of both cracked line and pressure on the pump input.

Here in pa we have to have insurance . mine is $75 a year. What does insurance cover on a scooter? Why would someone on a scooter get insurance? Collision insurance? I have fire theft collision and vandalism on my Vespa. John

Nothing wrong with the uni I have the pod in stock and ready to go. The only problem I find with the pods is they eventually start to tear where the pod and the rubber connects. I've had to drive home without a filter once because one of them fell off in the winter. As part of maintenance I check for loose broken cracked items. I have the same pod filter on there 3 years I have cleaned it a half a dozen times. In that time I have also known aid a bead of sillaicone where the rubber sits in the filter. When removing the pod for cleaning I noticed it rubber would turn freely seemed like air would get in there not filtered. John

The Keihin's I have I have been getting good feedback on them for quite some time and they have been coming from the same factory. Here is a picture of it. I can most of the time price match with US sellers. John Hey John, do you know what size of jets are that are coming in your carbs you sell? The ones in my pic that I have that say standard of Japan look identical to the one you have hosted on your site. I opened one up and was surprise to find a 102 and 35. I think it's 102/35 for a 125cc and 105/35 for 150cc. Anyhow, I know out appearances can mean little with these types of products and was just curios as to if you know the jet of the one in your link? its a crap shoot on the main i have seen 105 108 110 and 35. The selling point is the a/f adjustment not capped and the bowl screws are philips not tamper proof . What goes nice with it is the pod filterJust be sure not to make the mistake of not having a variety of jets . I think it cost me a customer after the sale of the carb. John

The jug comes out of the engine, so if the piston is stuck in the jug, it should push the jug out. If you can't pull on the jug and get it out, then it sounds like the crank itself is frozen somehow, which requires splitting the case. For now, put a bunch of penetrating oil into the cylinder on top of the piston and let it soak, then try to force it out with a rubber mallet. I thought the same thing too, but the piston will never stick out beyond the jugs sounds like the crank is jammed. John

remove your valve cover to get started. I suspect the common rebuild kits will work just fine.

no where the wires from the stator come from and connect to the harness, trace it from above the fan.
