Hi is it true that if you have a tubeless tire you HAVE to use the valve stem with the rubber base? The reason why i ask is cause i was gonna buy one of those all metal valve stems without the rubber base. But the shady, money hungry, scooter dealer told me that the rubber base (the one he sells) is what holds the air? Seems kind of suspect to me, so then why would they sell all metal valve stems and the details says: for tubeless tires. VS.

im not a expert but i talk from experience. it seems like it could be the mixture screw, i changed my carb acouple of days ago and it ran great for 2 days then it did not want to stay on while on idle, took it to the mechanic cause i felt like throwing over the mountain just like you and he said it was the mixture and speed screws plus he said it was my fuel that had too much slack but i think the fuel line thing was B.S.

Stephanies Scooters in Hialeah, FL is horrible. i bought my scooter there but i regret it. the owner is a cuban low life that is money hungry and seems like a shady person. ive gone to him with issues with my scoot and he tells me: "try to find someone who can fix it for you faster cause im busy" Dont buy your scoot there if your in the miami area. Luckily, im semi-mechanical and im a DIY type of guy plus ive found a motorcycle shop that fixes gy6's 10 mins from my house.

Where can i buy a Keihin or OKO carb, do u guys have any links? are those pretty much the top notch carbs or are there others? You must be new to the Internet. Here are the biggies for finding almost anything you want to buy. www.ebay.comwww.google.comwww.amazon.comnew? i was talking about specific scooter sites and links with authentic brand name carbs. Plus you have fakes outthere on the interwebss

i had almost the same issue like 4 days ago, lol.... i fixed the issue with buying a new carb and setting up the mixture and speed screws correctly, i installed the carb myself but took the bike to the mechanic so he can set up the screws correctly
