Hello everyone
Im back again in the forums, my scoot broke down and didnt have time to fix it myself for months. its running again, took it to a mechanic. Added some gas, checked the tires, checked the lights and everything is good. now i can go to work on the scoot instead of my bicycle. gonna renew my tag next week. still have to wash the scoot, has awhole bunch of dust on it. the mechanic said the problem was the CDi, he said it was the wrong cdi to have on my bike cause the cdi i had is for motorcycles or racing. i had the NCY (orange one) cdi. hope you guys enjoyed my past videos.

Enjoyed reading this topic. Not all 150cc gy6 have this on them so if I am in the market for a new scooter in the future , I hope I can remember it all. Having the videos made it a lot easier to follow and understand what was deleted. Good job on the camera man. However you stated that you have a 108 main jet. Might have to do a carb tuning next. ALLY, thanks for being so patient. I would have lost it after the 2nd page. thanks for the compliments and hope everyone in these forums got some good info on the emissions system removal, there is not much info or videos on EGR stuff on the interwebss

Sounds like you never plugged the PAIR hose up to me? Thats the huge hose coming from the chrome pipe by the valve cover..you need to plug that baby up I hear the exhaust coming through the tube..I just capped the back of my canister and that exhaust leak sound went away, unless you like dual exhaust:) Also sounds like its running a little rough there at idle,,might want to check your spark plug gap,,should be a smooth steady idle,,ba,ba,ba,ba,ba,ba,ba,ba... You can even plug it at the head,,just cut a small piece of tin and drill two small holes in it for the bolts,,I just plugged the end of the hose and it works fine,,when this motor finally blows up I will change it around and plug it the right way chrome pipe? i believe thats the PAIR system but i have a EGR system, 2 different emissions systems (look at post #11 on this thread)

Excuse me for replying here, but I just wanted to put in my 2 cents worth on photo hosting. I know that photos create some stress for you, but one problem for users is that after a few months the photos get deleted from wherever they're being hosted, and then the article is useless. From the reader's point of view, the website becomes empty. So it's much better when the forum is hosting the photos, too. In the scooter world, even old photos and old threads are still useful. photos get deleted from a host is cause the user moved the photo to another album therefore the picture host address changes. Been there, done that. its actually better when you have a host site cause when you use the forums for your pics they always come out small and the host site come out regular size, i use photobucket, once u get the hang of it, its real easy. just copy and paste the pic code and just change the settings on photobucket to 600x745 so it wont come out too big on the forums, thats it

yes, the c-clamp is the best way to exchange your valve stems without removing tire. u should change your stock valve stems anyway, get all-metal ones, i changed mines with NCY's. Dont know if the stems are universal thou, i bought mines online on a scoot store.

That hose is the TRANNY VENT HOSE leave it on the tranny just zip tie it high someplace out of the way it just has to vent. You can put a fuel filter on that one to just like what you did for the Gas tank vent hose. Also you should have a hose coming from the top of the valve cover which is your Valve cover vent to relieve pressure from the crankcase, that as well you can put a fuel filter and zip tie it high in case it blows out oil it will not get blown on your motor and if high it will drain back down. Alleyoop Sorry for all the questions Alley but on the other side of the fuel filter to i plug it or leave it open

I did not see a CVT HOSE? Is that hose coming from the tranny into the CVT? if so that is the TRANNY VENT HOSE as your riding it builds up pressure due to the heat and oil splashing around in there to lube the gears. The Fuel Filter does not matter just as long as it vents and it vents from either side. Alleyoop i put 2 pics of the hose on top of the cvt (post #25)... do i take it off or where do i connect it? it was connected on the medium size canister, im gonna put a vid rite now of the egr removal, i did it already

Ok, the hose coming from the tank that you disconnected the little canister you put a fuel filter on the end of the hose coming from the fuel tank. The rest of the that hose on the other side you can just pull out not needed anymore. Now on the AIR TUBING with the two V white connectors you have to plug those up because that is now open and more air is getting into the motor. Now on the other side that little black valve next to the petcock goes bye by all those hoses and things come off . Then the PETCOCK VACUMM hose like you said goes to the "T" and the other side of the "T" goes to the CARBs ACV valve. So now you should have ONE VACUUM HOSE from the INTAKE MANIFOLD going to the "T" and the "T" splits going to the PETCOCK and the ACV valve on the carb. and that is all the VACUUM you should have. What you had was ONE VALVE the one by the petcock controlling VACUUM to all the other things that needed vacuum. Alleyoop ok i think i understand, 2 questions: 1. so the cvt hose goes bye bye as well? 2. which way do i put the flow arrow on the fuel filter on the end of the hose? flow going towards the tank or the other way? does it matter? BTW...i will make a video of your egr removal advice before i even turn on the scoot
