Update:::: ok so i continue on with my tire project. Today i took off the front tire, actually i teared it apart, not gonna re-use it again anyways. Gave me abit of trouble but i did it (yes!) then i put on a NCY all-metal valve stem, just one cause im waiting for the other one in the mail. So here is where it gets intresting, when i was putting on the stem the nut did want to grip on the thread due to the rubber washer being too fat. I read somewhere on a scoot forum that someone had this same issue but they just took off one of the washers of the 2, this is a bad move cause then it wont seal. This is what i did, i used a metal file stick. I filed the hole on the rim then i took sandpaper, laid it flat on a table then i put the fat washer on top of the sandpaper and started to thin it out, just alittle, just enough so the nut can grip the thread then i could just tighten it. VIOLA! it worked. Called it a day, stay tuned tomorw...

Yo scooterists Doing a new project with my tires, replacing my rear tire with a new one, changing the valve stems on both and moving my rear old tire to the front, doing this all by myself. I tried removing my rear tire, everything went fine until i came upon the wheel nut, issue is i dont really have a good grip on it. so i went to harbor freight tools (cheap home depot) to by a bigger ratchet (1/2 drive) & socket (21mm) which it was the WRONG measurement for the wheel nut :'(Does anyone know the socket measurement for the wheel nut on a gy6 150? Also when i took off my front wheel it was easier (took off the nut with a regular tire cross bar) but when i took off the speedo puck this metal part came out quick and i didnt get to see how it was inside, here is a pic, does the threaded part go inside or towards the outside?

Why does my exhaust header have a hose? I checked a whole bunch of exhausts on ebay and none of them have a hose?

Is it fine to spray paint your scoot muffler with regular spray paint? i painted the front part (header) only of the muffler cause it was corrosive.

Ill tell you a story how i found out that china tire valves are no good. One day when i came out of work, i usually tie my front wheel with a metal chain link around a sign post but that day without me noticing, i tied the chain right next to the valve stem so when i was unlocking my scooter, i hit the stem with my chain and i heard air pressure release, it wasnt much force. the tire lost alittle air but i could drive home, i live 10 mins away from my job. Ever since that day i said, i gotta change these stems as soon as possible. Thank god this didnt happen to me while riding.

im in the same boat, time to upgrade my stock tires after using them for 1 yr and 5 mths. I actually bought today the KENDA k413 tires (4 ply) and all metal valves. Havent had any issues with the stock tires but just to be safe i wanna replace them cause the stock/china tires are low quality.
