Is it fine to spray paint your scoot muffler with regular spray paint? i painted the front part (header) only of the muffler cause it was corrosive.

it might burn off, in fact it probably will. use barbecue paint if it does.

howdy, it should not catch fire but will certainly shred itself in the heat. there are heat resistant paints so just visit your auto parts store and check with the help there or read the cans till you find something that seems like it might work.

There are different levels of heat resistant paint. Be sure to get the highest temperature one meant for exhaust headers.

Vht makes primer , color , and clear coat . Just be sure you get the correct primer , color and clear .
