Why does my exhaust header have a hose? I checked a whole bunch of exhausts on ebay and none of them have a hose?

can i take that off? what about if i buy a after market muffler that doesnt have that? |

Yes you can take it off just make sure you plug up the Vacuum hose at its Origin and the other hose going to the Air Tubing or Air box.
