If you have this type of muffler, they do rust, but they are made pretty solid, I keep mine painted. Attachments:

Hi doug, I did get on a website that had bear footprints and there were small and somewhat like mine, saying bear cub on photo  I have some here and on facebook saying its bobcat prints, so I don't know. Terrilee, yea I think the bobcats are a very pretty cat |

Have you checked your air fifter? you may have oil leaking and going through your the exhaust to carb |
