BMW has announced they are bringing the updated version of it's C electric scooter to the US. It uses the i3 battery technology, promising a 99 mile range, plenty for urban use, but still not good enough for touring. With a top speed of 80mph, and acceleration comparable to a 600cc engine, it could be a very interesting option for city riding! cdn1.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/51100651/P90229559_highRes.0.0.jpg

Could you post a link to the video so we can check it out?

Built to be off-road capable, with a 750cc engine (rumour), this looks like fun!

Very nice ride! Seems weird to say it now, especially here in Vegas, but stay warm!

Rollers may benefit from mixed weights, lots of discussions about pros and cons. Sliders will not due to their design.

Check the valve lash. Check for spark. Check for air leaks (intake manifolds crack when dried out).

Check your engine stamp on the lower left side. If it's stamped BN157QMJ-3, then www.scrappydogscooters.com sells a head for it, I'm using one of their heads for the past 3,000 miles.

You can adjust the screen time-out on your phone in settings or with an app. Just seems like TomToms are redundant these days.

Couldn't you do the same with a phone mount and a navigation app like Google Maps?

Reverse bleeding is so easy on a bike, not sure why it would be done any other way.

Notice that all the scooters in that video have 14-16" wheels. After two years on a 10" scooter, and now 1 3/4 years on a 16" scooter, I will never go back to smaller wheels!

You should also check the carb's decelerator pump, if it has one. Most 125cc and larger carbs have a decelerator pump on the side. It's purpose is to add a bit more fuel when releasing the throttle to compensate for the loss of vacuum that occurs at that time. If the decelerator pump diaphragm is dried or torn, it won't function properly.

You should get a second person to pump the brake lever, and closely inspect the entire brake line. You may have a balloon appearing/disappearing in the brake line itself. Some swear by metal woven brake lines for just this reason.
