Great But. . . Not entirely Mechanically inclined. . . I do so work myself but probably will not be doing the BBK it's a little above me so in "keeping it tuned right" What exactly does that entail?

Ok so I'm going to do a BBK was going to do 50mm but people have said scooters don't last long after putting one on... so was going to 47mm if this is false would a 52mm be pushing it... Opinions?
when doing BBK is a new Stroker Crank necessary or will the old one do? how big of a kit can I go without busting the old one? Opinions?
Whats the best gear ratio for these kits i was thinking 50/16T (3.125) Good, Bad, Better one? Opinions?
Performance A9 Camshaft Worth the money?

Thanks guys! IDK I Drained the bowl looking for water drained some tank.... didn't really find any water, started it up still spitting and sputtering worked the throttle for a little bit and she evenually came to within 5 minutes and just rode it to work IDK what was up just glad it worked it's self out...lol Thanks for all the input you guys are great.

Good Possibility of bad gas. but why would the power decrease like I said the lights dimmed and it would spit sputter as in possibly lack of power?

All Day Yesterday I was driving the scoot just fine doing great..... Parked it to eat dinner at McDonald's came back out started it up fine but when you give it gas it will throttle fine for a second then lights dim and starts not throttling until you let off throttle and try again and repeat time and time again for a half hour to make it a mile down the road to my house....
CDI NEW Ignition Coil New Spark Plug new and Clean Fresh Gas had just filled up with 93o Has Oil recently changed
Any Ideas?
Was thinking Bad Rectifier or piston scoring and or scorched maybe bad compression just not made it that far in diagnosing it... just looking for thoughts or ideas maybe something I'm not thinking of....

Okay so I put in an jet and High Performance air filter. Runs But idles rough.... REALLY rough but is idling where it needs to be.... Air filter is now soaked with gas.... and Top Speed and acceleration has went down.... What's up? Do I need to change air to fuel mix on carb... something else? if it is the mix any ideas on getting the tamper proof cap off?

I didn't go to big it was a # jet There was no washer on Variator Exhaust was changed I just don't know baffles the out of me.... As previously stated to much air to much fuel small piston= slower sounds about right thats the only thing i could think of.... it goes 35 I don't want to do 70mph thats why i havent done a big bore kit. 40 45mph would be nice though to keep up with my local traffic. I figured I could get that out of the little motor....

Hey Guys new to the thread. New to scooters.
Quick Question. TaoTao 50cc
Changed: CDI to High Proformance & No Rev limit New Hot Ignition Coil New Hot burning Spark Plug Bigger Main Jet New Air filter and lost Air Box New Glass pack exhaust.
Still Slow If not slightly less proformance. and on top of that even after changing CDI still limited to 7000 RPM's
Why? Fix?
