Most kickstarters aren't going to fall apart in two kicks either. I used mine nearly every day for a whole riding season.

I can't say I'll always have a "Chinese" scooter, but it's been reliable for the most part. It has it's ups and downs for sure. Once you find forums, manuals, and parts vendors--- it's a much better experience. Only real major headaches, for me, have been crank bearing failures.

I miss movies like that--- WAY before computer graphics ruined everything-- made everything perfect and so much more beautiful than.. reality, IMO. I can't stand CG nowadays. It makes everything bright and beautiful (unrealistic)---if that's your thing then fine, but it's not mine. I'd rather watch Jurassic Park-- very AWESOME special effects, that still hold up to this day.

YOU FEEL LUCKY PUNK Alleyoop Chief: [introducing Harry to the mayor] Mr. Mayor, Inspector Callahan The Mayor: All right. Let's have it. Harry Callahan: Have what? The Mayor: Your report. What have you been doing? Harry Callahan: Well, for the past three-quarters of an hour, I've been sitting on my "butt" waiting on you. Haha.

Never had a problem with the Vista Home Premium I had on my other laptop. I loved it. Never had 7 but my parents and friends did.
Always wanted a Mac though.

Oh I turned 33 today, and I just picked up a 22oz bomber of Three Floyds Dreadnaught.

Leo,
These scoots are too much fun to ride- it's something I know I'm not ready to give up on. That being said, it amazes me how much I now know about this scoot--- inside and out, and the good/bad. Day one was a different story, lol! If it wasn't for these scooter forums online, or the internet in general, I probably would have sold it!
Now 40,000+ miles later (kilometers basically), I'm at the point to where I realize it probably wasn't the best investment to suit my needs. It was a spur of the moment type deal to buy this scoot. To make a long story short, a guy I worked with sold his Honda Zuma and picked up what, would eventually be, my scooter. Well, he was a really big guy and wasn't happy with it--- so I bought it off of him for $750, since I didn't have a car at the time, I thought it would be worth it.
I'd say it was worth it, in the long run--- especially at the time I bought it. Knowing what I know now, I probably would've saved my money up for something of better quality. I just don't feel a 50-72cc Chinese quality air cooled scoot with no oil filter, is meant to be ridden as hard and as often as I ride it, that's all.
With that being said, I love my scooter! Poor thing... lol!

If I had a do-over, I would've gotten a better quality 50cc-80cc(bbk) scooter, or maybe a 150, maybe even a motorcycle. Something that can take quite the beating I put on it week to week, year to year, without having to rebuild it every year or year and a half.

Nothing new but I picked up The Puppetmaster collection for $5 in the Halloween section of Kmart, a couple weeks ago. I love those killer puppets!

I missed the whole PS3/360 generation, and the very last of the PS2 era. After my PS2 system w/games got ripped off in the 2000's, something changed. Never played AS much ever since then, on the newer systems anyway. I will play my buddies PS3 on occasion. Thought about picking up a PS4 or next gen system--- but not at launch, most likely next year if at all. I may just get a PS3/360 and pick up a bunch of games instead, lol. I play mostly games from PS2/Wii all the way back to NES.

Indiana's DMV doesn't say anything about it so far. www.dmv.org/in-indiana/other-types.phpSo I still assume one needs to get all the registration, titling, etc for them. Now then this police website still has the regular information for mopeds versus scooters. Only mopeds less than 50cc with 2 hp and can't go over 25mph still have the moped classification. So unless it is a really new law change, it is the same as before. Earlier in the year they were trying to bump it up from 25mph max to 30mph max--- I think it passed the House and not sure whatever happened after that, I never looked into it. I either read about that or saw it on local news, around spring? With that being said, there's no way the 150 part is true.
