Any gamers here? The X1 comes out next month, and dunno when the PS4 does prob end of the year who cares lol.
I love the 360 when I can play online, but due to certain issues I can't so i've begun to hate my 360 because of all the Micro$oft policies like;
online authentication
xbla games wont make over to x1
their recent policies which were overthrown (yes I was a part of the pack that went to majornelsons forum and whined and said Id go out and buy a ps4)
microsoft usually gets a hold of the better games, but their policies and prices are just enough to make me want to consider getting a ps4.
Then I cant play Dead Rising 3, omg and right now that is the only game I want to play on the X1. None I really want to play on PS4
cept maybe Kingdom Hearts 3, but I didnt even finish the first two that came before it.
If both machines had the same exclusives I'd get a ps4, just cause its more user and consumer /friendly I havent been playing close attention to what new features or policies the machines are actually going to come out with though.
For me though, the actual games comes before anything else, so I'm most likely getting an X1.

I don't know if I'm a gamer per say, but I have become a game player. I don't have a system now, just the old sega genesis which I've dragged out of storage. I want to get a few games on that- Another world and Flashback to be specific. I really dig those
I have a Xbox in the garage but I'm not sure it works. I've been meaning to hook it up though (it was my Dad's, he gave it to me). I think the PS4 is coming out in November.
So right now I mainly play Battlefield Playforfree online a LOT.

I missed the whole PS3/360 generation, and the very last of the PS2 era. After my PS2 system w/games got ripped off in the 2000's, something changed. Never played AS much ever since then, on the newer systems anyway. I will play my buddies PS3 on occasion. Thought about picking up a PS4 or next gen system--- but not at launch, most likely next year if at all. I may just get a PS3/360 and pick up a bunch of games instead, lol.
I play mostly games from PS2/Wii all the way back to NES.

Yeah, I don't think I ever bought a system at launch either. I'll wait till DR3 costs 10.00 used, then find a used X1 on CL. I try to play on the older systems like how I use to when I was a kid, but for some odd reason, the resolution and graphics really turns me off. Like i'll try to play an old school game, and all I can think about is how crap it looks compared to the new tech. sad cause I use to love those games. Even the Wii at times bugs me cause it only goes
to 480p res or something. I still play Blitz on my ps2 on occasion though. Lately though I can't justify playing games, when there is other things I need to be doing. I go overboard and play for hours if I get into a certain game. Like If I had GTA5 right now, I would play that sucker for hours and just waste my life until its finished. Sucks being a grown up =p

NO teddy.
MS knows how to manage money better.
I vote PS4 but im not a hard core gamer, but my son had a Ps3 and an X-box.
Came back after a week on the road, picked up my son and came home.
ALL the Ps3's console, games and controllers where gone.
They didn't even touch the X-box stuff.

I have my genesis out and bought Pit Fighter the other day. I loved that game back in the day when I rented it at Blockbuster. So I buy it at ebay. Its nastalgic. The whole vintage games thing is. I really appreciate it for what it is, but I am with you. I find it very limiting graphic wise. I do want to get those two games I mentioned though. I think they were very revolutionary in their time. The graphics are not very good but stylized very well and I think I'd dig playing these still. I'm also wanting to get a old playstation one. There are a few games on that I want to rediscover. What system is GTA5 on now, Ps4?? |

Why do they call it xbox 1 when its the second? Actually it;s the third, so it makes it even stupider lol, but I think their pr said its cause they wanted to start a whole new thing or whatever. GTA5 is on ps4 and 360. Soon for PC, no word for PS4 or X1 yet. I'm also an eBay seller and sell mostly games, but I don't pick up very many genesis games to sell. I do pick up a lot of ps1 and ps2 though. |
