You are welcome. I am in fact Justin, but Jason handles all of our tech support, so he is the one that sent you the first two emails, I sent you a third on Friday to follow up to ensure you received his two emails. Glad we got it straightened out for you. Have a great rest of the week!

dmartin95,
I'm sorry to hear you say that. We have replied to every email you have sent to us. Maybe they are going to your junk mail or spam folder... you sent us several emails asking the same questions... and we answered them all. Last week you emailed us and said if you don't get a reply, you'll attack us on all the message boards, which you now are doing. All we can do is reply to your emails, as requested, which we did, and very quickly I might add.
Jason replied to your original questions and when you contacted me directly, I replied on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 9:38 AM.

I though some Adly scooters were made by SYM and SYMs are well made. I may have my lines crossed there. SYM and Adly are two different companies. Adly is produced by Her-Chee... both are in Taiwan though. Justin

Thanks for checking in. We are still the distributor but have not received our first shipments yet. We were required to complete new EPA testing, which was completed last week. We hope to have some news in the coming weeks as we have dealers anxiously waiting for them to arrive. Thanks!

In my opinion, there is no better company to buy parts from in the USA. I've been dealing with PFS for a decade now and have NEVER had a bad experience... that's really impressive. Matt and the rest of the crew there are fantastic people who we are glad to support.

The vin number will have nothing to do with the speed. Each factory chooses what they want most of the digits to stand for. Most likely your scooter has been upgraded along the way. There are many factories who are illegally stamping larger engines as 49cc in order to sell more. Many have been caught and dealt with, but a lot are still sneaking them in.

There is a new US distributor for Adly Scooters. Can anyone give me feedback on their experiences with Adly? How do they compare with the other Taiwanese scooters(Kymco and SYM) Thanks Adly is now owned and sold by Lambretta. I have an Adly Thunder Bike 50 which is now the same EXACT thing as the Lambretta UNO.. Top quality scoots and love mine to death! It is better than my Benelli Andretti was even. Here 2 links for ya. All standard Minarelli/Jog parts fit except the belt which is an 878-17-28. www.lambrettausa.com/Home/UNO50/www.lambrettausa.com/Home/Where+to+Buy/default.aspxGlenn... Hello Glenn. I wanted to point out that Adly is not owned by Lambretta. They were a company that was purchasing from Adly for some time, but they have no ownership stake over them. As far as Adly having a new US distributor, this is true. We were just named the exclusive distributor for Adly in the USA and will be the only company representing the Adly name in the USA. The Adly scooters are great quality and just to make them better, we made approximately fifteen upgrades on the Bullseye model which has been available in the USA for some time now. Most of the improvements are improving the fit and finish and standard features. We also will be bringing in the GTA 50, which has never been offered in the USA before. Both of the initial 49cc unit offerings will have two stroke motors. All of our units will have two year unlimited mile warranties complete with two years of Roadside Assistance. The Adly brand has been around for quite some time and has a great quality track record. We are pleased to be representing this brand exclusively in the United States. The first shipments will be arriving in late April / Early May and we will have updated pictures and specifications posted on our website within the next few weeks. We've been signing up dealerships for the initial dealership offering for the last two weeks and the first orders are already almost sold out. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you all have and we'll be posting more information on our website in the coming weeks.

Their four stroke scooters are Znen made, but I'm pretty sure their 2 stroke models were built by Jonway or one of the other factories. I'm not 100% sure on which actually built the 2s units.

JM Star is NOT Znen. It's most likely Jonway.

The first number is how many scooters they say will fit in a 40' high cube container from the supplier. Being that it's over 50, that means that the scooter is arriving disassembled, most likely with the front wheel and handlebars broken down.

Wow, that's pretty neat. Never seen it before. It sure is pricey... only time will tell how long they last to see if it's worth the investment. It would have to last for years to pay off for that price. I'm sure the tag will come down a bit though after it's been around a bit.
