Wow, that's pretty neat. Never seen it before. It sure is pricey... only time will tell how long they last to see if it's worth the investment. It would have to last for years to pay off for that price. I'm sure the tag will come down a bit though after it's been around a bit.

Money doesn't matter, but I don't think I have 150 watts available to run the cooling, not to mention 180 watts for the heater.

What's the point? might as well just use the car. Bikes are not supposed to be "climate-controlled" why not just add a convertible top too? Having been on the water in all kinds of weather conditions,I can tell you that there are many brands of foul weather gear available for a lot less than that "thing".And there is no hose hooked to them If you dress apropriately for the weather, you do'nt need things like that-(just a toy for the priveleged) sorry, I just think it's ridiculous.

For summer cooling: Small cooler Ice Small 12v pump Clear aquarium tubing 'Sacrificial' riding jacket Some creative tailoring should allow you to stitch the tubing into the 'core' areas of the jacket. Hook up the tag ends of the tubing to the pump and have it circulate the cold water from the ice in the cooler (strapped to the luggage rack) through the jacket and back to the cooler. Top off the ice when you stop to top off the tank. When you get off the bike the only thing you lose when you 'unplug' from the hoses is a bit of water. You could even carry a couple of golf tee's around to plug the hoses from the cooler and to keep the jacket from draining (read: having to wait around for the jacket to drain so you're not leaving water dribbles everywhere).
