rode the Znen to work, rode home with a couple stops on the way, got home, drained and filled the engine oil.
Pulled the trans cover and traded the 17gram rollers out for 9.8 gram sliders. Still jerky at lights but I think the idle is way too high. Time to swap the carb. Maybe tomorrow night.
No work on the Xingyue tonight.

I saw millsc's post about mixing 9.5 and 10gram sliders.
MY Znen has a grabby clutch - I was shutting off the motor at stop lights today cause it was yanking the scooter too much.
The stock original rollers seem to have flat spots, but the grabby-ness is due to over 17+ gram rollers. 102grams total.
The belt was even squealing. Gates power belt 835 x 20 I think
I have a set of sliders from scrappydog, that all weigh about 9.75 to 9.79.if we round to 10, and the rollers to 17, I could mix and have an average of 13.5 grams. Mixing rollers and slider... Dont know if that's wise...
I need to get closer to reasonable so I can ride, and order a new set.
Would the 10s be too light? hmmm. I am trying to make a quick decision and get it back together before dark.

If that were here, I could see a 50cc for the GF who doesn't want to be bothered with the work required for a 150cc scooter license.

this picture from carasdad shows the dark tip. Sometimes black, sometimes grey, either way, light doesn't shine through, and I dont believe it can be removed. Your original pics show a clear tip, no coating. I could be mistaken and the coating is something else or is a variety of different compounds, but usually I read it being described ad aluminized.

Mine came running lean, bad (poor material) fuel lines and the fuel filter in backwards. The retainer clip in the spark plug wire was missing so the lead would fall off the plug.
Mostly mine has been very good for a cheap Chinese scooter. Cold starts - I'd let it run while I gear up, - high idle for maybe 3 minutes, then it stalls and I don't start it again until I am ready to roll. Once rolling, I make sure to rev a bit at the first stop light then no stalling issues beyond that. I have a 107 and 2 spacers for the needle. Or rather HAD, because I am converting to EFI.

If your original bulb has a cleat tip, be sure to not get replacements with aluminized tips - they cast a shadow and defeat the purpose of having lights. I was looking for all clear H4 to replace my BA20D, went with a 45/45watt H4, but the black tip makes high-beams useless. Bi-xenon HID coming to a headlamp near me... with the adapters to replace H4, BA20D and something else... looks like a sweet kit.

the rubber connector has a hose clamp on each end and says right on it: 1 1/4" drain pipe to 1 1/4" drain pipe. The electrical PVC i have is a 45 degree 1 1/4" with the expanded end cut off. I could cut this down to only an inch or two, but have left it about 9 1/2". And the Uni filter, which I think I should change for a K&N type measures just over 42mm in the inside
The carb measures 42.7mm O.D. 37.7mm I.D. That PVC measures about 34mm I.D. The EFI thottle body measures just over 35mm.
When I bought the bits, I took my caliper, carb and air-filter and wandered around Menards for liike an hour looking for just the right bits.
I'd take a couple pics, but my phone is in the house charging.

The Xingyue ITA uses the same air filter as the SH150 - Honda and K&N have them. Mine is being deleted because I am putting EFI on my ITA150, and a high flow air filter will replace it.
I will measure my parts tonight. I have a rubber connector sleeve and a piece of electrical PVC conduit with the filter mounted on the end.

for sure! Drow has the case, crank, jugs and pistons, BVH, and other performance bits ... but just parts is flying past a grand to start, forget any 'professional' labor required.

I like to ride up in the loop if I can see the cut int he road. If there is enough traffic I try to pull up far enough the car behind me can trip the loop. If it is like 3am, I plan ahead for multiple right turns and possible U-bangers.
I think the closest light to my house actually does react to flashing my high-beams a couple times - which I don't do if there is oncoming traffic.

I took my Harborfreight torque wrench to work and checked 3 or 4 settings and according to the calibration equipment, the cheap wrench was right on.
I'd also check the alignment pins...

Another plus for MCS is that passing gains a reduction of insurance premiums
