50mm bbk
Everything is clean and assembled. I tried moving the spacer in the needle to the highest setting.
Stock carb works fine but was already too lean with stock cylinder and is epa so I cant open it. I don't wanna buy another one and have the same problem

I have a spare carb with an jet. Could never get it to run right on any of my bikes, and now I need it. When its on it revs then when in mid range it "spudders" and cuts out and won't reach top rpm. The carb was new when I got it, what could be wrong?

Is the plug that covers the screw a plug or a screw its self?

ON the other scooter I upgraded the valves had to be set wide. like .006 intake and .007 exhaust. When I tried.003-.004 it looses a great amount of compression and is hard to start. Maybe I should have got the 64mm instead of 69mm? But I just got a new kit for my new bike. Its bigger and goes 45-50 stock with a slight drop in weight in the variator.
What did you set the valves for on you 50mm bbk?

Sounds like a case of cvt problems. More so the variator than the clutch. Rollers sound excessively worn or out of place.

I have a 2012 CY50-A With 5g. I had 4g sliders and they made it waste gas by over revving with no speed gain. Also I have a spare carb with a main jet and free flow air filter and it seems to run rich and wouldn't go as fast and had bad acceleration like it was running rich. I adjusted the mix screw a little but it still seemed sluggish so I went back to stock. Haven't had the time or patience to fully determine the cause. I mixed stock rollers with 4gram sliders. Goes slightly faster and better acceleration.
