They are a real pain in the butt to get out,,I drilled mine out...but bought a new carb anyway cause I like the Kehin from Japan,,better quality,,now my old one is parts... BTW-For the procedure I drilled a small hole in the stud and used an Easy Out.

[replyingto=redroush00]redroush00[/replyingto]Show us where you cut with a dremmel,,I have a dremmel and there is not enough room to slot the stud because its countersunk, they dont make a cut off wheel small enough to fit in the hole,,do you cut in between the bowl and carb housing???That wont work either without trashing the bowl,,please show us how you do this???
BTW-That grab it tool looks awesome,,two in one bit and extractor!!!

Is the plug that covers the screw a plug or a screw its self?

[replyingto=jjoshua20213]jjoshua20213[/replyingto]Well the A/F screw adjustment is covered with a brass cover that comes right out with a small drill bit carefully,,the float bowl had just cut studs on mine.

Using a dremel you may slip and damage your fuel bowl. The nice part about the grabit tool is it is cheap and the right size drill bit and extractor are on the same tool. Using a reverse drill will pull the screw right out.
To each there own.
