Mmmkay... Well... Anyone wanna buy a 2013 50cc TaoTao for SCRAP?!?!?! I'm SOOOO fed up with this stupid god forsaken thing, I'm gonna either set it on fire or sell it for parts! After I get the clutch on, its not "catching", so I put the old clutch back on, & it catches, just not when you put any weight on it. Theres not enough power to make it go. So, after several phone calls to Scootn, he suggested to check the valves.. As I took the cover off, I notice that the freakin' head (rocker arm holder) is cracked in 2 places!!! Seriously, ... This thing is brand new!! Soooo... I gotta order ANOTHER one!!! & If this don't work, so help me, I will either set it on fire or sell it for parts! >:/

The clutch is here!!!! Now, I just gotta wait til I get off work to install the thing & hopefully it will work properly & fix my scooter... On top of this mess, I now have 7 Yorkie/Schnauzer mix puppies I gotta take care of... They were born yesterday morning.. & 1 is a runt, which breaks my heart into pieces, so I've been trying to bottle feed him every 2 hours cause his siblings push him out of the way alot. I need lots of prayers/good vibes/happy thoughts for this poor lil puppy. I hope he pulls through.

I really hate the postal service... They have not updated the tracking info since the clutch was shipped. So, I have no idea now when it will come... *sigh* I was hoping it would be here today considering the Expedited shipping... But, Either the mail has not been delivered today yet, or we just didn't get any mail at all...

Awesome! I just went to Tru Value & I bought a couple different sizes they appear to be the right diameter but, I'm gonna check them against the bolts I have to see which one is closer & go from there. They were only .20 each.

I honestly didn't pay attention. :/ But, Thanks for the tip about Ace Hardware, we have a Tru Value hardware store next to my work... I will bring a bolt with me Friday & see if they have anything close to it.

Next question... Since this "mechanic" kept most of my bolts that hold the crankcase, & swears he doesn't have them. Is there any place I can order them?

I was holding the throttle open, just not a whole lot... I didn't fully inspect the clutch when I got it off... It was late & I had to work today, I will def take a look when I get home this evening. Would you like another video of it running without the bell cover? & revving wide open?

Got the video of it running with the cover off! I cranked it with the cover on & ever so carefully took the cover off... & this is what I saw... Now, since the video was taken, I managed to hulk out on the scooter & got the clutch off.. I took some pix, if anyone would like to see those? I think I did an ok job on the video considering it was taken inside my cabin with low light. Anyways.... Thoughts?

I have tried to get one like that but, it wont start up without the cover being on because the starter gear thingy jumps out. Its been like that since day one, I thought it was normal.. But, I have found out that is it not normal... That has been added to the repair list at a later point, it starts up fine with the cover on. The tire moves when I spin the clutch. But, I noticed the pulley will not move, unless I move the whole thing. & When its moving & I change direction of the clutch, it will still spin in the same direction, it wont change with the clutch.

& Here is a video... As you can see, we were moving the clutch in both directions & the part behind the springy part kept going in the same direction, never changed when we changed direction... I didn't know if that meant anything or not?
