I replaced my carb yestday and I've been having a heck of a time getting it adjusted. After a few hours now I've finally got it about to where it will idle. Problem is, it seems to sputter on takeoff and it seems to have little power.
Can anyone give me insight as t which way to adjust from here. The c-clip on the needle is set 1 under center. I would also like to add that the fuel filter doesn't seem to stay full and bubbles here and there putting air into the filter from the carb side of the line, is this normal?
I'm completely new to carb adjustment to all help is appreciated. I just wanna ride again and have it stable before I install my bbk as I'm still waiting on a part for it before I can install it.
Thank you -Tim

Well, I got the carb installed today but it seems VERY out of tune...which isn't good for me because I have no idea how to tune it. It BARELY idles and would die when I gave it gas. Now it won't even start. I've read tutorials for adjusting it but apparently I have no skill when it comes to that D8
Guess i,'all try some more tomorrow but man is it getting me down. Wish I had someone close by who knew how to do it.

I might have to pick some of that up. The chrome paint I use takes quite a while to dry. Thanks -Tim

ridecheap, I love how the red POPS on the Clutch housing. Great looking scoot kendallt, I LOVE your scoot. Looks great and definitely carries the Hot Rod theme. I could look at pics of that all day long. Especially like the red rims/white walls/Chrome Hub Caps!
