OK, I don't have the seafoam yet but I've been out tinkering and I thought I would try to start the scoot. It was a little rough at first being a cold start even though it's 74 out. Once running the same problem persists, idles fine but giving it throttle kills it. Any ideashatnwould have caused it to act like this after my ride yesterday? Everything was fine yesterday till after trying to start it an hour after returning home. The little fuel filter isn't clogged and everything seems in place. I'm confused about what got this acting up. Should I go ahead and try rebuilding the carb right off the bat? Thanks again and please have patience, I've not had experience working with carbs yet. -Tim

Any ideas would be appreciated. I had a friend suggest running some kind of product called "seafoam" through it. Would that be wise? They have LOTS of experience with carbs, just not scoots.
Thanks -Tim

Hello hank Thanks for all the info! Now I've got a problem with my scoot. I took it for a trip to town (roughly 20 minute round trip) and now the little bugger won't run when I give it gas but idles fine for awhile then dies as well Not sure what the problem would be because it ran fine the whole trip. It was hours after that it started this. As of now there are no mods and I purchased new two weeks ago. EDIT: After letting it sit for the past 2 hours or so it seems to be running fine..Any ideas on what might have caused it to act up and then work fine? I would hate to take it out and get stuck because it got temperamental again.

Already got one of those on the way, Thank you though ;D I was more curious about the clutch springs and torque springs. I over read about rollers and sliders and the like and was curious about those things as well and which ones would be better, I'm not sure as far as the rpm ratings on them. Is higher better or lower? Thanks again -Tim

Hello everyone, I'm in the market for ways to do as the title says. I'm not sure what springs or anything I would need to accomplish atleast a little more torque. Going 5mph uphill can't be good on the scoot and it's scary as ..lol. Anyways, I've got $50 to spare and was wondering what you guys and gals suggest. Thank you -Tim

Thanks guys : )
As far as the lights go, I'm safe around here as long as they don't flash. It's such a small town, when I was separating fact from fiction on scooters in this state the local law enforcement couldn't even tell me what laws they enforced for scooters..lol.

Hello everyone, New around here and thought I would share just a few pics of my Piglet...Can't be a Hog now can it?..lol. Nothing but visuals done to it for right now, Lights were merely because around here there are a lot of hills and no streetlights so I wanted to make sure to be seen. I would have gotten white but blue was what they had. I do like the look however, It's grown on me since the installation. Pics: And here's one of my little passenger and me: I have plans for a few upgrades to to the hills in the area, I only get about 5mph going up them by the time I get half or more up but 35 - 40 on flat. "100cc" BBK on the way and still researching the other components that it will need. I don't plan on doing any "Mods" for now because I just wanna enjoy scoot'n around while I've got the summer. Any advice would be appreciated for performance on hills while keeping a happy 35mph flat. I'm new to all of this and learning as I go. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it as much as I do! : ) -Tim

Hello everyone, New to the forum and scooter world in general here. I recently purchased a tpgs-824 boss 50 scooter and my 8 y/o daughter and self are loving every minute on it. Being one of the only people around my area with a scooter I've been hunting for a place to call "home" when it comes to my new found obsession..lol. Thanks -Tim
