Those are good Variators I have a 115mm version of it on my Trike and it is great. I can bring it up to speed and backoff and it will hold 50mph at 5100-5200 rpms at 60mph the rpms are 6100-6200 motor just purrs.
TVNACMAN(John) sells them at a very good price. Alleyoop

Alleyoop Same here..I have one on my 2T Jonway Hornet....unlike the stock one when I let off throttle it slowed down. With this performance one it is just as you describe...I get up to 50mph...back off to 1/2 throttle and it holds that speed and does not decelerate like the stock one..woo hoo..

Yes you got it Carasdad, I have two marks on the right side from no throttle to full throttle and once I back off it is at half throttle, sweet Georgia Brown as they say. Alleyoop

You can't even get a stock variator alone for that price. Ok now they need to market that kit for the 2T Minarelli engines....hey fair is fair... and we wanna similar kit..

Noice. I've gotten parts from that guy, he's down there in 'Dry Pond'. I'll have to try that kit, can't lose at that price.

Having all those different weights is Cool. I have 5 gram/stock variator I took off so I used 3 old weights and 3 new weights and i spaced them 5-6-5-6-5-6. I have higher rpms. Not much, just right. The Slider tabs are pressed on tight. Bigger than original. Beefier setup.

I ordered that same kit. I went with 6grams as well and it pepped up my take off, maintains inclines better and didnt lower my top speed. I'm happy with it. Good find.

Is this the one Scrappy sells? I just got one for my 150cc GY6, but I haven't installed it yet. I got ten-gram sliders. I have an 835-20-30 Gates Powerlink. Would 842 be better?
