Duuude, I'm beyond stoked on the new pipe. Bone stock I was topping out like 52 to 53 (indicated and gps were the same) on the flats and I always felt like it had some more, even rejetting from 105 to 108 didn't make new dfff on my top speed. Well I just went for a long ride with the new can and header and it was going over 60 indicated which I was hoping I could get with future mods, gonna GPS it soon to see if its accurate at 60, Cuz its accurate at 50. But just the bigger header n exhaust gave me a huge boost which I realy didn't expect. I didn't even think it would gain that much with a uni and rejet as well. Still waiting for my uni in the mail. Gonna up jet to 110 till that arrives then probably go 115. I'm frankly amazed at the difference, I guess my little scoot just needed to breath a little. Its gonna be really happy when the uni arrives

Now you have me excited. I contacted the seller and they said it was sent yesterday, and a tracking would be available Monday. I'll post results and how it affects my carb.

I'm kinda dumbfounded actually. I was pretty dismayed that my bike seemed slower than most stock. I thought I'd have to do all kinds of mods to just make it to 60, but I guess it just needed to breathe. If your bike already goes 60ish hopefully you'll see some good gains. I think the bigger header really helps. Only thing is I have a bit of popping on quick deceleration now which I wanna sort out

Most stuff I've read says a new pipe won't do anything for power without intake mods...but I guess my scoot had just the right conditions for it to help a bunch. I'm excited to see how it does with the uni and a bigger jet. Is the popping maybe because of a lean pilot? I turned out the idle screw and it didn't rely help the popping. I ordered a better exhaust gasket too in case the lame stock ring isn't sealing well. Is a 38 pilot too much?

BTW that's a great video, I actually used that to learn the basics on how to tune my carb. I'm gona be playing around with mine a bunch when my uni arrives. What annoys me is the damn screws on the carbs are like butter! And they come so tight from the factory. I have yet to adjust my needle which I may just try, but I've learned how to change jets n stuff. I wish I had an 02 sensor like this dude! It would be so much easier to tune

The factory exhaust may have had some restrictions in it. When I removed my sons head on his scooter I looked at the exhaust flange and the pipe was fitted into the flange and welded. The Pipe stuck into the flange area past the weld and I could tell that it was creating a huge exhaust flow issue. It really needed to be ground back to the flange area and smoothed out. Maybe your pipe was creating more resistance than what would normally be considered stock. Sometimes it is luck of the draw on certain parts that can make a difference.

My stock ond was actually like that too. actually my new exhaust is welded into the flange like that as well and has the tiniest bit of it sticking over. Im gona dremel it, its just barely not flush. It seemed to work just fine thougb even with it like that. My stock one was one of tbose black ones with a plastic guard(which cracked) and a rly restrictive header pipe, total junk. Id advise anybody with that type to get rid of it quick. The pipe from aliexpress is not yoshimura quality thats for sure but for 66 bucks im very happy with it. Just the sound makes me smile, not to mention the performance. Damn I should advertise for them haha, screw that I should buy a crate and sell em! Just have to delete this thread so ppl dont know how cheap they are

I'll give you a tip on Ali.
A lot of venders sell the same items on the site. Some of the vendors are even on Ebay selling the same items. When I find something I like I copy and past a key part of the description and do a search for it on Ali and Ebay. A lot of times you will find multiple venders with a wide variety of prices listed for the same product. Usually it is within a few dollars, but I have had prices be over a hundered dollars in difference.
Ok, I'll give you another tip....
Start putting things in your wish list that you want, but don't need right away. Some of the venders are quite regular in putting things on discount. Usually I get a notice on Sunday that I have items in my wish list that are discounted. If you want to see what has been discounted just click the link.
Good luck and have fun....

You can start a photobucket.com/ account and upload the video there and then link to here. It is free and I have used it for years. Seems to be the easiest for me. Oh, and it is free.....
