Indeed they are pro cars raced on the street for a scripted tv show.............. Farm truck was the last real legal street vehicle...... A CBR motorcycle is not a few thousand pound car......... You should know that. Medical is my profession------ Much like "Mototsports" that term can cover a LOT of different fields....... You can also run at 161 MPH with a 9. time...... Just sayn......

Yup, they are professionals "Street Racing" with cars not allowed on the street.......
Not a lot of folks these days get away with breaking the law on video..........
Don't get me wrong, it's a cool show!!!!!! Just not really reality TV.
Again, Much like Wrestling it's fun to watch.

None of those cars would even be competitive at Hot Rod's Drag Week. And those ABSOLUTELY ARE street cars!

Indeed.
Cross country and back in an 8 sec. car Legally... that is impressive.
Not a "lets race" when I sort things out for the camera....... JMHO.

No...1000+ street miles in a SIX SECOND car! All the unlimited cars will run a 7-flat or better now! (One ran a 6.15 last year.)

love this show!
never gone that fast, but boy does it look fun! i try not to get too caught up in the semantics of if they are street cars or not.. i just follow the logic that, they aren't on a super prepped road.. and are on one that cars drive on regularly..
you can see the support when someone comes w/ a race track car.. and can't get it to hook on the untreated pavement..
really good show.. excited for this new season..

Actually most of their cars are street legal. Yes it is somewhat scripted. The races are real but the streets that are used are either shut down for the show or older streets that are not used and are somewhat fixed up for racing. If anyone watched the show Monday then you saw what a real pro mod looks and runs like . the guys from the show didn't even take their top cars to race and enden up getting beat by most.Kansas actually brought the real pro mods to the street. When it comes to the top 5 cars they have , there are not many " so far only one car that can actually outrun them " not sure if boost'd is still number 5 , if so his is still not nearly as fast as the top 4 they have.

I know the murder nova has always been street legal , and many of the others on their list are also. Is " there crow " street legal ? Not really sure . this is the thing. Most cars today that race on the street , put whatever into the car they can afford. If its tuned by a laptop or just straight up letting them run and doing the adjustments without the computers , I know Oklahoma does not have many street car laws , when it comes to what is legal. Are some cars not legal due to emissions ? If that's the case then most street racing cars are illegal . what is it that makes some cars illegal ? Other than the lights , signals, windshield and wipers, brakes, and doors , what else? Oklahoma has no lift laws or bumper height laws . not even any fender laws . other than they must have mudflaps if no fenders. Are some possibly not legal because they never took the time to get the car registered and inspected, not sure . are some not considered a street race car due to the car being changed so much from the original version of the car ? There are some answers I'd like to get just to see if its just the ones who don't have the money to be able to build their cars up so they can hang , that are complaining about the cars being " not real street cars " or if the guys from the 405 are really doing something " illegal in street racing" that is giving them the upper hand. If its just that they have more money to improve their cars then most and still be able to keep it on the road , then thats just called putting the work in .

royhilldragracingschool.com/classes/pro-modified/Pro-Mod, Roys in the hood here. was a customer for awhile. a classic piece of work. Throws a great Christmas party bbq spread. I know the lights, etc, Street Legal. Since When and in What State are Slicks and Open Exhaust Street Legal? I'm guilty of watching but in the back of my mind is Wally Parks rolling in his grave as he dedicated his life to get this off the Streets.
Just a lil Mouse Motor, Whatcha scared of? I keep it on the track, But if ya call me out it will be a throw down, With my AC on and the Hitch is still on to Drag yo arse down the strip
