Lol, last time I changed the oil pump on the scoot , I put the side cover , stator , flywheel , etc, back on and remembered I forgot to tighten the pump sprocket nut . I had to tear it all apart at tighten it. In the process I ripped the new gasket ! And had to us some gasket maker . then after I tightened it , I put it all back together again and I glanced under the scoot and saw the pupm guard and two bolts laying there !! I again had to tear it all apart and finally got it done. I was using a few colorful words that day, lol. I too use "alternate" jargon when working on things, specially when a small bolt or nut decides to fall from my fingers and get into the most inaccessible gap , lol , I forgot to drain the oil from the scoot before removing the side cover 2day. What a mess. I was in a hurry and just forgot. I had royal purple everywhere. You should have seen the bonfire I made on my pourch , lol. I poured gas over the oil spot " after wiping the oil off" it was a pretty big spot. I lit the gas on fire and let it burn !! I did it a couple time to get rid of the oil. Fun times.

The header pipe draws heat away from the exhaust port preventing it from overheating. The back pressure from the muffler causes the bike to run richer cooling down the engine too so without the exhaust it will run hot and lean increasing the chances of burning the exhaust valve and damaging the exhaust port. Since the back pressure from the muffler also increases the pulse of the intake removing the muffler can make the pulse so minimal that the vacuum powered fuel pump may no longer work or work well further increasing the change of running hot and lean. When running hot and lean you can also end up burning a hole in the top of the piston which can result in throwing the connecting rod through the engine block for total engine failure.
With the current weather in Florida its not a good idea to run without the exhaust on the bike.

Don't know how well if the oil had been sitting and started to really stain the concrete.

I used cat litter under the tracker the other day when I fixed the brake line.

A little Purple Cleaner can help the Cat Litter clean up the mess or in a pinch just sprinkle some table salt on the spot after sopping up the bulk of it with rags. Adding some salt to the Cat Litter can also enhance its ability to clean up the mess.

I just got another agility, without a muffler with the exhaust tube obviously cut right near the oil drain nut. I would also think this is bad, haha. What do you guys think? I think I need some new mufflers lol

Im trying not to ride the scoot in hot weather. It does make a big difference.

You'll probably be fine so long as the header pipe is attached. You should get it welded back on asap, otherwise it may cause issues later, and effect performance.

I am in the process of fixing the exhuast stud that broke off in the head. I have been riding without any exhuast. 3 mile trips at the most. It runs ok just very loud. My starter is starting to deteriorate. Its hard to start now and i have to get it just right. I also noticed the kickstart wont work. It used to with the exhuast on. Am i doing damage to my scoot by not having an exhuast on it? What are your thoughts? *** i am quite aware of the social and legal complications that arise when your scoot is very loud in public. Dont need any help with that What kind of scooter and where are you in Florida? I have my stock exhaust from my 150 just sitting in the yard, its not in great shape but it's all in one piece, its yours if you want to come get it I don't need it but i hate just throwing stuff out I'm in north broward county

Exhaust heat slamming into the open air is going to eat those valve surfaces soon. Prepare for a valve lapping job, and or just upgrade to the stainless steel valves while your in there. Course 1 tube of "valve lapping" compound is only $5 at any local auto store. Its pretty easy , YouTube it
