I think I will be ordering a brand new BBK soon to just start fresh. I went for a 45 min ride last night, used up 75% of my oil (was full) and melted the end of the spark plug! Yeah,, If you keep riding it like that you are going to waste the crank sooner or later,,the case should always be full of oil at all time,,especially when its so hot the plug melts because your oil level was so low....your head/valve tran is going to be so carbon'ed up its not even going to be funny too. Good thing parts are cheap for these..huh

Might as well save what little I can get to just get an entire new bbk with everything and just start fresh.

You bet! Just remember - the clamp is to compress the rings, NOT to be screwed down tightly against the piston.
ps: a thought about batteries, cold weather and Boston:
You can get a battery at Walmart for $50 approx. Let's say if you left the battery outside every night it cut the lifetime by 1/3. That would mean you wasted $17. But if you left it in the scoot (with an alarm active) you might just avoid some damage / theft. How much damage does it take to cost you $17? Now, I'm in a warm weather place so my situation is different, but even so my alarm is active whenever the scoot is parked AND I HAVE A PAIR OF AIR HORNS, which are obnoxiously loud. I think airhorns on EBay would cost about $50 (including the compressor) - and if hooked up to the OEM mouse horn are literally a potential life saver when people try to cut you off. Not that any driver in Boston would ever do THAT ~~~~. Anyway - a cost/benefit thought for you.

I and (I think geh - or maybe Jersey - or maybe someone else?) are really very happy with the stuff we got from this supplier -- free shipping in 2 days from Puerto Rico to San Diego; good Taiwan quality, untouchable prices : www.ebay.com/sch/gy6racingteam/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=(note: the stuff i got was for a 150cc engine, if that makes any difference in satisfaction)

They don't have 50mm bbk, not sure if the parts that seller has are compatible with mine either, I have a 50cc that I put a 100cc (50mm) bbk on.

I think either geh or Jersey can answer these Q's you have.

Sweet. Looks good... I just have a few questions regarding quality. What is taiwan quality made out of? How does one know if they bought a high quality part or not? I usually buy from www.ebay.com/usr/02starrider?_trksid=p2060778.m2749.l2754 Looks like the same stuff to me, but how should I know lol.

Have no idea or comment on the stuff your guy is selling. Can't tell quality from photos.
Regarding Taiwan:
The vast majority of stuff made for Chinese scooters and their engines is made in, naturally, China. GY6 stuff from China is VERY cheap. It's also quite spotty in terms of quality. The problem is only partly what can be seen: casting imperfections, etc. The bigger problem is with the quality of the metal alloy used, which tends to be quite inferior. Quality control in Taiwan is far better. Castings tend to be of higher quality. But, more importantly, the alloys used tend to be stronger. Of course, there are different manufacturers in Taiwan and they are not all alike. Taida is generally top quality; others may not be as high. But, I think, ALL the Taiwanese manufacturers are superior to what you will get out of a Chinese factory.
