Hey guys, just wanted to make a separate thread for this since the popping sound from my other thread is now solved.
So here's the issue; when I start up the scoot it still gives off a ton of smoke until it warms up. The smoke smells like burning oil and is light blue. It does not matter if the scoot was already warmed up before starting it up.
When it is under a load after warming up the smoke goes away after about a few minutes of riding, but not completely, just goes away enough to not be noticable in motion, but when I stop I look at the muffler and there is very thin and very light blue smoke. When stopping at stop lights it gives a little bit of smoke every now and then and when I accelerate from a stop at a stop light that I have been waiting for a minute or so it will make a pop or two as it revs up, but it does not pop on acceleration at any other time.
Besides that my scoot is working like it used to, eating up oil but still able to get me and my girl around.

Assuming it's oil, I have two ideas-
1- Your oil rings might have some issue, perhaps they got turned to where the gaps are on top of each other, the upper ones can get twisted while working the oil rings into the jug.
2- You could have a leaky exhaust valve, oil drains down to the exhaust valve, and if it's not seated perfectly, oil can be drawn in during the intake stroke.
The leaky exhaust valve is easiest to rule out, you just have to pull the head and do a leak down test. If it's solid, unless someone else has a better idea, I would say it's the rings.
When it's warmed up on the center stand, does it make the thin stream of smoke throughout the RPM range?

I believe it does, I haven't checked the entire rpm range on the center stand but did use the entire range with it on the road. For the first few minutes of being on the road the smoke comes out enough that I can see it in my mirrors behind me while I drive. After a few minutes of driving it goes down to where its almost completely clear and theres almost no smoke but there still is, just very very little. I'm not cracking it open for another week or so or until I can get another new gasket set and a new ring set just in case. I don't want to crack it open yet because I'd like to enjoy being able to get around to my appointments and stuff in style for a lil bit lol. Does anyone have a good source for 50mm piston rings? I haven't had the best luck with buying them, kept getting defective rings when I would order them on ebay.

Guessing, but resuing the old rings might just be the oil burning problem. If so, new rings and that problem is in the rear view mirror.
Just remember: DEGLAZE AGAIN BEFORE INSTALLING NEW RINGS! Otherwise good chance all for nothing.

Sounds good, when I get a new piston ring set and gasket set I'll check the valves for leaks and hone and install new rings (hopefully) but I am still having trouble finding a reliable seller for these rings... Everyone I have contacted asking if they have rings that can be gapped to 0.008 and 0.010 say they don't do gaps/check them/open the ring sets before sending them out... I'm really kind of nervous about ordering another set, when I ordered 50mm rings I kept getting bad rings. Wasted $30 in total on rings I couldn't use... and that was money I had to borrow too which makes me even more nervous because what if I order another set and find out they are bad too?

Ive seen people set them both to .008 on a 57mm with no problems,,but if you do the math in the Wisco chart I posted on my thread they should be a little more than that,,also bottom ring is ALWAYS gapped bigger.
Get yourself a small FINE flat file to do the job then just make sure to debur them with a little bit of 400 grit sandpaper. I found a great fine flat file at Lowes used for filing rakers on a chainsaw chain,,it was $4 and comes with a depth gauge that you wont use unless working on a chainsaw chain.
Both my oil rings where at .008 from factory so i left them alone.
Use the piston to push the ring down into the jug square before measuring.

I watched a friend use a package of 10 fingernail files to do it once. I was amazed it worked, but once pressed in the ring it measured up perfect. Where there's a will there's a way!

That will work,, What I did was put the file in the gap of the ring then just lightly put pressure on both sides of the ring equally so each side of the file was working flat and square to the ring ends, you need to make sure you hold the ring tight,,I would do a couple LIGHT strokes then look closely at my progress making sure I was cutting them perfectly square or as close to square as possible. It doesn't take much to remove.001",,once you go too far its too late.

According to the math in this guide: ebay.globaldc.com/scooterparts/borekits/100ccGY6/install/bbk.htmlI need rings that are gapped to 0.00787401574 and 0.00984251968, but since those precise measurements are not doable since I am not a robot lol, I rounded the measurements to 0.008 and 0.010. Currently my current rings are 0.010 and 0.012 cuz i messed up when I gapped the old rings I am using. Btw, using 50mm bore, not 57mm...

About 30 minutes all together, but that includes beer and cigarette breaks!

Yup .008 and .010 will be perfect for you,,thats what I did,,rounded mine to the nearest 10.
My breaks include Hot Wings and Ribs,,gave up cigs and beer a while ago..I drank enough to kill 12 sailor men when I was younger so i had my fair share of fun.

I'm guessing no one knows of any seller they trust who sells 50mm rings since no one has even acknowledged the question and I've asked multiple times.
