1. There is virtually zero chance the stuff is made in the USA 2. There are all kinds of aluminum alloy. All GY6 castings are aluminum. Those from China tend to use very soft alloys.

How do I know I am buying quality parts or not? Just have to know people who also buy from said buyer?

How do I know I am buying quality parts or not? Just have to know people who also buy from said buyer? You mainly should buy from recommended sellers. As long as u stick with the few we've mentioned, you should be fine . I'm sure there are other good sellers that are selling quality parts but its basicly a guessing game when u buy the parts from unknown sellers . you may get quality parts and you may not.

When you get your parts especially BBK stuff,,you really should have a digital caliper at least and measure everything,,then take a close look at the casting,piston,rings...you will be able to tell if its quality just by how nice they machined things.
My kit was claimed to be made in Taiwan,,by the way it looked it was very good quality,,much better than the OEM stuff i removed. The BBK reminded me of the Japanese parts i was getting for Honda,,the piston much resembled a quality hi performance Wisco.
Unique Scooter formerly Scooter Elements(Walter) is a great seller also..he wont settle for Chinese knock offs..you just have to be careful before you buy cause even gy6racingteam has been known to sell Chinese knock offs of certain items like the Two Bros. pipes..if you look close and pay attention to the packaging they use you will see the difference.
