hi can someone please help me. this is getting very frustrating now and I don't know what is wrong with it!
I have a 50cc Peugeot vivacity 50cc 2T with an upgraded technigas exhaust. I have highered the jet size in the carb up to a 0.70 and also have sizes from 0.60 to 0.. I have tried all these jet size's and still no differences. I have replaced the bike with a brand new belt and replaced the rollers from 8g to 6.5g and still no difference, also I have checked the throttle cable which is working absolutely fine. the bike has high revs when on its stand and has loads power on the stand but as soon as I jump onto it, it will reach 25mph on a flat but very slowly and 15mph uphill even when I have a speed of 50mph before hitting the hill it just dies down... whilst on its stand the belt goes thinner around the clutch on and thicker on the variorter when I give it revs.. which I think is normal and believe this indicated the clutch is fine..?
Can someone please give me anything else I can try cause this is getting on my nerves and really don't know what else I can do. please note(I do not have the standard exhaust and I cant afford to buy one)

Lack of fuel delivery IMO,something between the tank vent, tank and carb...and if thats flowing good it could be a clogged exhaust,,those 2 strokes clog up spark arresters all the time..even though its upgraded maybe?? Did you try another CDI and coil? What are the valves adjusted to .004,,did you check them?

Well it is a 2T so no valves, But have you adjust the AIR MIXTURE on the Carb?
Take a picture of the CARB the LEFT SIDE(CVT SIDE) and I can tell you what to adjust on it. Alleyoop

the fuel is flowing fine straight to the carb no problem their. there shouldn't be anything clogged in the exhaust as I only fitted it 3days ago .. and it doesn't have a cdi unit .. I don't know what a coil is :/ I don't think their is any valves, and i think the cvt side is screwed right in? is the adjustment side because the other one is the tick over. thank you for replying back to me

As you look at the carb: If there is a SCREW on the CARB ON THE SIDE of the AIR TUBING SIDE it has a AIR RATIO screw(turning it Clockwise cuts off the air and RICHENS..FEEDS MORE FUEL), Turning it Counter Clockwise Allows more air LEANS it out LESS FUEL).
If there is a SCREW on the CARB ON the SIDE of the INTAKE MANIFOLD it has a FUEL RATIO screw( turning it Clockwise LEANS it out LESS FUEL), Turning it Counter Clockwise RICHENS it MORE FUEL).
If there is a SCREW in the MIDDLE of the carb it is THE IDLE SPEED SCREW( turning it clockwise raises the idle and counter clockwise lowers the idle), What it is doing is lowering or raising the SLIDE.

Is it a 50cc ? Mine came with 6g rollers but I mixed up 3 4g and 3 6g to equal 5g . Most run 4g or 5g on a 50cc 2T . You can get clutch springs that are 1k , 1.5k and 2k which engage at their rating above the RPMs of the stock springs to help on take off . You may need a stiffer contra ( also called torque spring ) which is under the clutch assembly .
Are you sure you have the right size belt ? The wider it is the more top end you will have .
I tried a racing pipe with no baffle and lost bottom end since lack of back pressure but it had more top RPM power and was as loud as a YZ 80 .
How many miles are on it ? Have you done a compression test ? It should be over 120 PSI and if less than that you may need new rings or rings and piston since aluminum is so soft it wears easy . Also get new gaskets if you rebuild it .
What size MM is your carb ? Many come with a 13 to 17.5MM but I was lucky mine came with a 19mm TK carb with a 68 MJ . I replaced it with a 75MJ and it was better . I was running a 120 with the racing pipe and Uni air filter but I went back to the stock pipe and a 110 MJ .
A NGK iridium sparkplug will fire and run better than a standard plug . Not necessary go faster but run better and not as prone to getting fouled by oil build up . A new plug can do wonders .
Follow the sparkplug wire as it is connected to the coil . My stock unit the boot was a that would come off and eventually fizzled . I bought the orange performance coil from ScrappyDog and it runs waaaaaaaay better , has a better boot and has not came off a single time . I did have to widen up the mounting bracket just a hair to line up both holes .
I put on a blue racing CDI from PFS when mine was new and still 49cc and it did have a hair better takeoff from an advanced timing curve but still topped out at 8k RPMs and would sputter if I went above that downhill . It is better made with a finned aluminum body instead of plastic . It did not have a mount hole like the stock one so I used a zip tie pulled tight with pliers to hold it in place . My CDI was between the seat bucket and body panel on the right side and a 5 pin type . I know some Adleys have it in the battery tray but unsure on Peugeot

how about mixing your roller weights? is there a restriction in your bike, in the muffler, or variator? or soemthing.

yeah 50cc , ive got 6g rollers in their atm all 6g , I believe it has stand clutch springs. I am positive I have the right size belt as I brought it online for my make of bike also its got hardly any slack. I have not yet done a compressing check but I have put my finger their and it does give a nice push out also its only done 2.6k miles and like you said I also have low acceleration but when descending down hills it has high rpm and when I pull throttle the bike pulls unlike it does on a flat. I believe my carb is 13-17.5mm im not sure on that one but its in that range,
ive just put a brand new spark plug , its not that lean but its not that rich looks brownish... and for the cdi my bike does not have one
thanks for help btw
