I have a 2010 Eton Beamer Scooter, It has a loud exhaust and a bad electric start. I know it needs a new starter relay. Other then that It's in working condition. How much is it worth?

I would def get it running first , it may only cost about 10 bucks and this with up the value more that . Usually stock 150s sell between 300 and 600 used depending on miles , body etc.

Mine is a 50cc and has low mileage. It runs and has great gas mileage. I've seen them sold for $500 - $700.

If it's not running right, your price would likely be significantly discounted. Maybe half the normal rate of what they sell for in your area.

It's running right and gets me where I need to go, so It's worth at least $300 - $400.

Replace the $10 part and you'll double your money.

I plan on it. Can you estimate the retail value after I do so?

Remember that asking is not getting. I see a lot of bikes on Craigs List with high asking proces that get relisted every month or so a little lower many time getting to about half of what they started at. A 4 year old 50cc would be $400 or less if everything was working as originaly intended. Scratches, worn tires, brakes etc will all detract as will anything that does not work when you squueze a lever or push a button. If it had been prepped for storage, never been ridden and in showroom condition then you could get a few hundred more. As it sits the tires by the years that have passed are at end of life now and will need to be replaced by the purchaser in very short time further reducing the value.

You can get a new 50 for $600 and change...so I would say no more than $300-$400 for a chinese 50 used...I would not pay more than $250.

I have a friend who sold her ex boyfriends scooter on craigslist. It was a 50cc, 12" tires with just less than 1k miles. She told me she was asking $800 and I thought good luck with that. She sold it for $700 and I thought that was a great deal for her. I would have never paid $700. So I say fix it, and ask $800. You can always come down.

Remember that by the book in Tampa it has a Trade in value of $560 and a retail value of close to $900 only with everything working and in Excellant Condition. Starter not working and blemishes along with the part of the country you live in can cut those values in half. Also try to understand that Retail Value is when sold by a dealer who has had a mechanic service the bike has a warranty in place to repair any faults found with the bike within it 30, or full year period of coverage. Based on Kelly Blue Book in Tampa a 2010 E-Ton Beemer 50c with a none functonal starter would be worth $280 to $450 depending on how close to showroom condition the rest of the bike is.
