Yes but I noticed that the springs are in BUT THEY ARE NOT even stretched a little I think they are to loose in other words to long for that clutch. Now that clutch does not look like a standard clutch do you know where that clutch came from or is there some markings on it. I know for a FACT a NCY clutch those springs are to long. I have a NCY clutch and I had those springs and they were to long I had to email the dealer I bought the clutch from and he sent me the right springs for the NCY CLUTCH which are shorter in length. Measure the LENGTH of the old springs and the new ones also count the number of coils on the old and the new. Alleyoop

My springs are like that also . I am able to snap them in without having to use any tools . Now I have to use a screw driver or needle nose to take them off . They look just like mine but I have the orange 1500 and a red 2000 rpm set . And they both work properly

Well if you can put them in without a tool then I would say they are to long for that clutch or awfully weak. I have put in springs and no way can you pull on them with your fingers to get them to stretch and get it in the hole. Alleyoop

If u notice the old springs had 5 coils and the new ones have six but , the old ones have longer hooks so I'm guessing they are probably the same size .

I have the ncy clutch assembly with he ncy springs and I have six coils on the clutch springs. And when I say I can snap them in without tools I mean I put the long side in first and I can stretch them just enough with my hands to snap the other end in. These things are very strong so I don't mean I stretch them far to snap them in I'm barely able to stretch hem but it's just enough to get the edge of the hook close to going in the hole and then I push on them and they snap into the hole .

Great, but we are trying to find out the OPs problem with the Clutch engaging right off the bat with very low RPMS and the only thing I can figure out are the springs are to loose and will move out just a little before it actually pulls on the springs. The pads if you notice are very close to the Bell so it doesn't take much movement of FREE play for the pads to grab.
I also noticed that when he showed he put on the bell It at first rubbed on the pad and he had to wiggle it to get it on so there must be a 1/32 or so around the clutch before the pads touch the bell. And if the springs have a little play that would do it. Alleyoop
P.S. I just checked one of my other clutchs and with the bell on the clutch pads are at least 1/16 away from the bell.

He says it's spinning before 1000 ? I know I didn't read much of the thread but does he mean it's spinning before 1000 rpms if so how is his scoot idling at 1000 rpms ? It would stall way before that . Is he sure his rpm gauge is right ?

In the video where he shows the blue spring in the clutch then I goes to where he stars the scoot and the wheel is spinning it sounds like the scoot is running at rpms closer to 4000 .. I couldn't hear what he said or if he said what rpms it was at at that time . I'm on an iPhone my has been down so I've been using the iPhone all yr to get on here.
