Hi guys,
I have a Buddy 50 I purchased new clutch spring and rollers. Does anyone know how to install the new clutch spring? I read about the clutch spring and rollers, they were recommended for "torque off the line"...it is a 50 I realize... Do you think this will hinder resale value? I'm looking to upgrade.

From what I understand, doing aftermarket upgrades to a scooter decreases resale value, and will more than likely void any manufacturer's warranty. I'm fairly new to this, so take that with a grain of salt, but that's my understanding. Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Upgrades up the resell value if done correctly, most don't know anything about the parts they just want it to go fast.

No matter what, resale value on a chinese scooter is rarely more than 50% of purchase price, upgraded or not. YMMV, after all a sucker is born every minute!

I paid 600 for my scoot . It had low miles and ran fine , after putting about 2500 into it I would be lucky to get between 600 - 1000 for it . Then again after all body work is done It may bring in more if I ever wanted to sell it .

I didnt watch the video , but I hope the springs in the clutch are just for show or just painted stock springs , I really hope they are not using 3 different rpm rated springs .

No, they mention it's three different springs, they do it to show the snap-ring pliers make it much easier for any strength spring.

I usually don't watch the videos unless it's something I can learn from , clutch springs are very easy to change . I usually learn by doing it myself , even did my bbk by taking apart the front end and putting the bbk on the same way I took the stock front end off . I did have to look up the torque specs however . not trying to be ignorant. I figured someone would answer my question . Lol . Watching a video about a clutch lesson seems boring to me "just because I've done it many times " . Again not that it's irrelevant , it is a very helpful tool to many .
