On the ScootDawg forum, GS Motorworks was highly recommended by several people, usually noting their service, responsiveness to warranty, and delivery swiftness.
I ordered a TaoTao Powermax 150 from them on February 27, it is now March 13th. The only e-mail I have received from them was the confirmation of sale. I have not received a shipping notice, tracking number, or anything else.
I called Monday the 11th and talked to Alfredo, who sounded very busy, and he got me a tracking number for ODFL, and he checked it while on the phone with me. He said it was showing up as an invalid number, but would probably work by that evening.
I am still trying the number, and I'm still getting "Invalid Pro Number. Please check and try again."
Basically, I'm asking for reassurance that this is still within a reasonable amount of time for my scooter to be shipped. I'm not sure if calling again and hounding them for it will get it any sooner.

I bought my scooter from gsmotorworks i called in my order not sure it matters, but i got my scoot in three days and they sent me parts when something broke for six months. The day they emailed my tracking number is the day i got my scoot i had to call old dominion and set up a time to drop it off. gsmotorworks and budgetatvs.com are the same people get whatever is cheapest on either site.

GSMW for a long time had nothing but good reviews then everything went to heck for a while. I had understood that they worked out some of their problems and were doing better.
Keep bugging them. Did you use a credit card? If you did you can always file a complaint with credit card people and probably get your money back if the scooter does not show up.

First, are they just sellers or do they actually have a shop, if they have a shop they probably do not have the scoot that you ordered, give them call and ask if they have the scoot in stock or are they trying to find one. Alleyoop

imo it should of already been there but things happen I have waited 16 days for one scooter from county imports but every other one has been 4-5 days maybe the didnt place the order or something I would call again and email and let them know if you dont hear back with a good explanation that you are going to do a charge back

Why don't you just call back, tell them the tracking number doesn't work and you haven't gotten your shipment yet? If you really want the scoot and think they are legit just give them a ring. I'd do that before filing a dispute with my credit card company, they're only going to ask if you contacted the seller yet anyway.

From their website: We ship only to the continental 47* states and average delivery time is 12-15 days (depending on where you live) from the time of your order.
There can be many reasons for delays, truckers can get held up on other deliveries, go over their time limits and have to sit somewhere, etc. I would use this time to get your PDI supplies and relax and look forward to the arrival of your new scoot.
A watched pot never boils....

Called again, talked to a different person, and got it sorted out. Scooter was ready a while ago, but there was a communication hiccup. The guy I talked to said "They(meaning another shop, maybe?) aren't used to dealing with ODLF, so I got it straightened out, and the number should work this evening."
That was Wednesday evening, and I got my scooter Friday morning.
Scooter was in good condition, all parts included, nothing broken yet. Haven't started it or checked electronics, but that will have to wait 'til a day off.
Thank you all for your quick responses. This hasn't ruined GS Motorworks for me. Once they caught their mistake, they fixed it immediately.

Great news! I am glad you got it, hope you post some pictures of the new scooter and that you get it on the road fast. Have you looked at Big Guys PDI for your new scooter? PDI
