Does it bog then perform ? Are you bogging at top RPMs ? The only way to know or at least get an idea of the jet size is to remove the bowl and hope it is stamped with a number . Here is a link to help you see what size jets the carb uses as it has many to compare with www.jetsrus.com/FAQs/FAQ_identify_that_jet.htm A caliper is a must have to measure with . Harbor Freight has some elcheapos for 2 dollars and nicer ones as well . I bought a regular one and a digital one . The better ones are made of metal . Here is a plug chart to compare the color of your sparkplug tip with www.4secondsflat.com/plug_chart.html A jet kit is the way to go for fine tuning the carb instead of paying per jet on a multiple order . If it takes standard GY6 jets here is a kit www.partsforscooters.com/114-48-Main-Jet-Kit-CVK?sc=34&category=133078 On a 4T sometimes it will run better with the airbox instead of a Uni or K&N style airfilter . To get the most with a K&N and high end exhaust some porting of the head will have a higher flow rate . Well first off is the air filter clean an oiled ? Unis and K&N needs a special oil and should not be used dry . Inspect the jets for any varnish or dirt which will clog them up . Any spray carb cleaner with work . I also like to use a stiff solid strand wire to poke through a jet . Are you using the intake spacer ? I think MillSC said his scoot ran better without it when he put on a large carb and BBK kit . What size carb did it come with ? Can you post a picture of the custom air intake mentioned in your signature ? You are talking about your 150 correct ?

I have a ported head too, didn't have the 8mm exhaust studs so i used the stock head with 60mm domed piston compression is very high had to put in a 230 cca battery to get it to start easily but it runs like a beast. Has enough torque to lift the front wheel, haven't tested for max speed yet since its not broke in but im happy with it so im gonna leave it as is i cruised on the a 50 mph highway today at half throttle running at 55 on the speedo

[replyingto=millsc]millsc[/replyingto]Did you have to machine the cover for your BBK, or did everything bolt up? I just bought a 150cc Roketa with a Jonway engine from what the Roketa website say.

[replyingto=doublert]doublert[/replyingto]OK, so after calling all the scooter shops today nobody has bigger main jets than the stock sizes, half of them didn't even have jets. So I ordered some off eBay a while ago, I went with the Keihin 112.5 jet. Now maybe I can nail it wot and it won't bog down on me. We"ll see........

[replyingto=doublert]doublert[/replyingto]Took my carb apart last night to see what my stock jet size is, and it does't have any numbers on it. Hope the 112.5 will work ok.....
