Hey guys, I never ride WOT, but today I did, and also tonight is when I really noticed at WOT it would bogg down real bad, like cut out as if someone is stopping up the airfilter. What gives? The reason I've never noticed it before is cause I never ride WOT since my power and speeds are just fine with my set-up below in my sig. Whatever it is, I don't like it. Also, my brothers Peace 50 V.I.P will spin tire when the front brake is held, I don't think mine will, except on wet grass.
Thanks everyone, Randy

To find what the motor needs do this: Bring it up to WOT and when it starts to act up BACK OFF THE THROTLE 1/4 of an inch and HOLD IT THERE. 1. If the scoot speeds up it LEAN and needs more fuel 2. If the scoot just settle down it is to RICH
Also the reason yours does not spin the tires is due to your 15/36 gearing it does not have the power on the low end. Alleyoop

I think your carb may not supplying enough fuel.. the carbs fuel bowl is probably running low when ur at wot and can't keep up with the engine fuel demand. I'm having the same problem with my 50 cc with a big bore kit. when I get to the end of the street from wot and wants to die but once I putt around the carburetor bowl fills back up.. i need a carb with a deeper fuel bowl

Alleyoop It does the bogging no matter what speed, I'll leave from a stoplight and just increase up to 15mph, then gas it WOT, and it will bogg down, when I'm doing 55-60mph, I'll gas it hard, and it will do the same thing it was doing just at 10-15mph or any speed (20-30, 30-45). Otherwise when I'm just riding normal and not gassing it hard it is just fine. Alley, I did notice tonight riding home, I was going about 55+ then gassed it WOT and it bogged down, I immediately let off it dropped down to 50, so I held it at 50 normally and my speeds started to gain back to 55 just like normal.

There you go it is LEAN the motor needs more fuel that is why when you open it up a lot of AIR is sucked in but not enough fuel. So up your main jet by 2 sizes of what is in there now. Alleyoop

If you want to prove it is to much air you can wrap oh say a 3/4 inch tape on the end of the K&N and see if that is enough air taken away, if it still bogs somewhat add another strip all around next to the first one. Alleyoop

[replyingto=alleyoop]alleyoop[/replyingto]Hey Alley, My Carb is the cheap 26mm found on eBay for around 23-30$ I don't know what size jet is in it, I have never taken it apart. Surely someone on here has that carb maybe? Or I could just get a 115 or 120 and hope it would work? Hit or miss I guess. Makes me wonder how much power i've been losing cause of it being lean...... Anybody here got the cheapo eBay 26mm Carb? What jet is in it? Thanks, Everyone!

Well most of those carbs the jets are not marked, but with your setup I would get a 110 and a 112 A 120 will be to much that would work on a BBK setup on a 150. Alleyoop

Ive noticed that i seem to have about the best ratio that performs good at WOT but slightly lean according to my spark plug. If i upjet from the 79 I have now to an 80 its flat on the WOT position. Now using the stock airbox you would think covering one of the tiny holes on the cap on the tube would reduce the air enough to richen the mix a hair but all i get is lower performance. It appears that i cannot get a better ratio than i have now and need to remain slightly lean rather than the preferred slightly rich.

I have a big bore kit i'm running a 125 jet, i would put a 110-115 jet in a stock motor with an open air filter, 115 to be safe
