No you already have the new clutch on the way right. No sense reassembling it just to replace that when it gets there.

Next question... Since this "mechanic" kept most of my bolts that hold the crankcase, & swears he doesn't have them. Is there any place I can order them?

does the belt ride to the top of the variator when you open the throttle? Next question... Since this "mechanic" kept most of my bolts that hold the crankcase, & swears he doesn't have them. Is there any place I can order them? i replaced one of mine at ace hardware. it wasn't an exact match but it was the same thread and length. cost me 40 cents for one.

I honestly didn't pay attention. :/ But, Thanks for the tip about Ace Hardware, we have a Tru Value hardware store next to my work... I will bring a bolt with me Friday & see if they have anything close to it.

They will have it. Lowes seems to always have the bolts I have needed but the True Value in my town at least has a very good selection

ya now getting the right length is gonna be the tricky part napa will have the metric threads but chances are they wont have the exact length youll need so you may have to cut one down to size. they should be able to do it for you and taper the ends. the guys at my napa know me pretty well so they had no problems doing that for me, but whats the worst that happens they say no right?

Awesome! I just went to Tru Value & I bought a couple different sizes they appear to be the right diameter but, I'm gonna check them against the bolts I have to see which one is closer & go from there. They were only .20 each.

I really hate the postal service... They have not updated the tracking info since the clutch was shipped. So, I have no idea now when it will come... *sigh* I was hoping it would be here today considering the Expedited shipping... But, Either the mail has not been delivered today yet, or we just didn't get any mail at all...

Most USPS shipments only give delivery conformation. It certainly stinks

The clutch is here!!!! Now, I just gotta wait til I get off work to install the thing & hopefully it will work properly & fix my scooter... On top of this mess, I now have 7 Yorkie/Schnauzer mix puppies I gotta take care of... They were born yesterday morning.. & 1 is a runt, which breaks my heart into pieces, so I've been trying to bottle feed him every 2 hours cause his siblings push him out of the way alot. I need lots of prayers/good vibes/happy thoughts for this poor lil puppy. I hope he pulls through.

Mmmkay... Well... Anyone wanna buy a 2013 50cc TaoTao for SCRAP?!?!?! I'm SOOOO fed up with this stupid god forsaken thing, I'm gonna either set it on fire or sell it for parts! After I get the clutch on, its not "catching", so I put the old clutch back on, & it catches, just not when you put any weight on it. Theres not enough power to make it go. So, after several phone calls to Scootn, he suggested to check the valves.. As I took the cover off, I notice that the freakin' head (rocker arm holder) is cracked in 2 places!!! Seriously, ... This thing is brand new!! Soooo... I gotta order ANOTHER one!!! & If this don't work, so help me, I will either set it on fire or sell it for parts! >:/
