Took the scoot on its first trip on the open road. It topped out around 44-45 mph (as indicated). Does this sound about right for a 152QMI? I don't have any way to measure it by GPS at the moment.

mine is a bit faster too , mine goes 58mph as indicated by GPS.. My speedo is about 5 mph fast

I downloaded a GPS-speedometer app to my phone tonight, so I'll give her another run tomorrow. As far as I know, it's a completely stock 125.

A 125 should be able to get you to almost 60MPH manual gears, and 50-55MPH with CVT.
Sounds a bit on the low side. My ATM50 does 48MPH on a good day, 43 on a bad one.

I usually mean top speed after riding for a few tens of minutes. I also fuel with BP Premium, which I already told, is 10% better than any other fuel out there, imho.
But most people who bought the ATM50 have similar speeds than mine, perhaps 1 or 2 MPH slower.
And most who bought the EVO150 also have similar speeds, perhaps 5MPH slower, which I also entirely attest to the type of gasoline I'm using.

I wouldn't expect your 125 to do much above 50 but you should get a solid 50. Unless there is wind or an incline.
FYI Prodigit does seem to have found a way to post on this forum from another dimension where things are always faster, and the laws of physics do not apply and BP fuel contains magic

FYI, I think scootnwinn is either jealous, or he's just a crappy modder! I mean, if he was even paying attention he would know that I'm not the only one who gets these speeds out of a stock taotao. Then I laugh when they buy expensive performance mods, and do all kind of shizz that makes their scoot slower than my stock one! I laugh at your futile efforts to beat the BP fuel!  |

I have a Shell here,,and IMO it is the best gas I have found in a long time,,my pup truck pings on anything else,,but I can run Shell regular in it no problem,,the super is only 92 and I run it in the scooter.

Isn't aviation gas only red colored kerosine?
I believe they use it in tractors and military vehicles too.

I didn't really notice a difference in the BP gas. But I wasn't taking any speed or power calculations. My butt dyno didn't really feel the difference. |
