Ok, so I got everything replaced on my 50cc TaoTao scooter.. Now, I'm trying to put it all back together & so far I have be successful. However, I'm stuck on this piece. I was not outside when my girlfriend's brother took this part off, so I have no idea where it goes. Its attached to the carb & from what I gather it is a fuel line on the carb, the problem I'm having is the end that appears to bolt somewhere. See this pic? Where does it go? :/ Thanks again everyone for all of your help! Attachments:

that hose leads down near the front of the belt cover and attaches to a lower bolt that holds the belt cover.

That hose is the carburator remorte drain. in this picture borrowed form scootdawg you can see the hose hanging down at the far left of the picture, and right nest to it is a cover mount bolt hole - Yours will be in the same place, but with the cover in place. That drain does NOT go between the cover and the engine.

Charge the battery - low amps, or a jump from a car, motor off. My Znen wont turn over if the kill switch is in the off position. On the Xingyue, it will crank but wont fire if the kill is set to off.

Currently charging the battery with a "Trinkle Charger" I guess it charges really slowly... Its been charging for about 30 mins & I just checked it & it still makes the clicking sound when I try to crank it. D8

Kick start. That's what it's there for. Just don't go crazy on it since the mechanism is a bit delicate.
Double check your connections. Everything clean and tight? Big red wire from battery to solenoid then from solenoid to starter. Black wire from battery to frame ground and then to motor ground.

Ok, tried kickstart. Still nothing. It ACTS like it wants to crank but it wont. Its "whining" like it does right before it would start up. Like what a car sounds like when you turn the key over. Is the starter supposed to be loose? I know nothing of these stupid things, but I'm trying my best. I don't enough money to take it to a professional mechanic.

Find the SOLENOID and Turn the KEY to ON and TOUCH BOTH TERMINALS on the SOLENOID with a screwdriver or pliers or a piece of wire and see if it spins your starter. If it spins your starter your battery is good the SOLENOID is bad if it CLICKS when you press the start button. Alleyoop
