Mine hits 50 at will. Actually just drove it to Walmart and back cruising at 50 for most of the way. It did more when I had the 16/50 gears on but I didn't like the hills slowing me down. Went back to stock gears. My max was 54 with the 16/50's in.

Ugh... I want that head!!!! Time to start saving. Will this work ok with a 50mm airsal bbk? the kit i bought didn'tcome with a head. I'm running a stock head and cam right now and I have noticed some gain but not enough to add 50/16 gears I want. If it will work how much gain an someone exspect with the head and a a9 cam?

Fixed some speed misfire with a new coil...hit 39 on police radar today....going to start tweaking the variator and possibly a bbk soon......if you are hitting 40 with just some tweaks, how much top speed and how much faster will you get there with an 80cc big bore any projections?

Hummmm that's a hard one to predict, an 80cc bbk will get you there faster, how much faster depends on other things, variator weights, your weight, carb, cam used, head used, muffler, the terrain your driving on... a bbk does not really increase speed, it increases torque, how much torque is dependent on the other variables, and how well you put that torque to work.
51, wow! How big of a tire did you manage to squeeze on there? My scoot came stock with / /12s on it. When the rear needed replacing, I didn't think it through very well and ordered a 110/100/12 to replace it. That was massive! So tall that I didn't even attempt to install it on the rear. I put it on the front and ordered another 120/70/12 to put on the rear, which is still a good bit taller than the original.
I have a 120/ /10 tire on it, yesterday I made the pin that separates the 2 halves of the front variator shorter and slightly thinned the outer variator half where it butts up the shorter pin in an effort to get the front variator to force the belt higher up the ramp..I like to try little things to see if they work..I drove sprintcars in Pa for 25yr and just cannot help myself. The only bad thing is she is really walking the Aprilia now, I did not have a GPS on us but the Aprilia speedo was at 57-59mph and she was walking still me
