I will try to get better pics as some point, but the clear was reflecting the sun and sky. Not bad. It also seems to show different colors based on the sun - I've seen this with other metallics on cars. Cool ;D. Before it was black with tons of scratches (from previous owner) and different shades from fading. I removed the chrome side inserts and will paint those too because they have scratches on it as well.

Now, I think it is missing something. The wheels are pitted and oxidized. I am thinking about painting them black or red or black w/ red reflective tape on the lip. Here is a pic of a Vespa with black wheels.
